Questions & Answers
Question : vehicle playsets from the 1990's?
i had these little vehicle playsets when i was younger, one was a red train, a yellow submarine, a black stealth looking jet, and a brown or gray landrover kinda thing. The vehicle would open up to show a landscape and there would be a mini version of the larger playset that you could play with inside of them on the landscape, and i think that on the back of the boxes there was a comic for each one. I've been trying to find out what they are for a while now but i can't recall the names at all, and searching online hasn't helped. So please help me re-live my childhood by naming these toys!!!
Answer:
Micromachines folding playses match your description.Or perhaps Mega-force

Question : Miniature Army Men Question - PLEASE HELP!?
So, I understand that nobody is probably going to know what I am talking about, and I cannot find ANY information about these tiny toy soldiers I used to have. So here it goes.Do any of you know what type of Army Men were sold, at least in the 1990's around K-Marts or Toys R Us, in a set of 4 pieces? There would be 4 soldiers, with an occasional vehicle. I am NOT talking about Green and Tan soldiers like everyone knows about. The uniform colors were a brownish green soldiers, and a gray soldier with black belts. They have white or brown faces and hands. They were half an inch in height tops. They were TINY. They came in a set of 4, usually 2 greenish brown and 2 gray, but sometimes all 4 of 1 uniformed color. Some of the notable vehicles, which were only 1.5 inches tops in length, were an APC (Gray), Rocket Tank (Tanish Brown Camo), Communications Vehicle (Green and Brown Camo), and Jeep (Grey). They have a few playsets, one which included a helicopter that was slightly bigger in length that the vehicles listed above. The playset with the helicopter had an underground bunker for vehicles to travel under, and dirt paths above where there was a neat "mine explosion" trick where if you placed a soldier/vehicle over the small contraption, you push a button and it flips anything off from the top. Remember I am NOT talking about green/tan army men WWII style, nor am I talking about Civil War type army men. They were modern looking. They were plastic I am assuming, but they felt a bit rubbery. I could bend them. I would take a picture of them but my mom threw them away when I left for college a couple years ago. I know this is so much detail for army men that many of you probably do not or have not ever seen, but if any of you could give me any information on these you don't know how grateful I would be. My nephew is just getting into army men, and I REALLY want him to play with the ones I had just 12 years or so ago. Remember, they came in a package of 4 soldiers, with sometimes a vehicle. If anyone even knows what type of toy package I am talking about where a set of 4 miniature half inch men/aliens etc where, please let me know! Thank you, and I hope someone out there knows.I believe they were part of Collector Packs Mini Figures where they came with 4 pieces/soldiers.

It sounds to me your describing Military Micro Machines made by Galoob. See link below

How much would you pay for it?
Answer:
For some unknown reason, I have seen a lot of S.W. characters go for more than carded figures on Ebay. Judging by the collection, and the condition, I would say you could possibly get around 400.00 (that depends on who wants to buy it, and how badly). The vehicles would probably sell faster, and if I were you, I would wait a few more years for the value to go higher on these, but if you don't want to wait... try selling them as separate items and go from there.

Question : Help Finding Toys from the 90s?
1. My brother used to have these cars that had weapons pop out and fire when you turn a removable key in the back.2. We used to play with these playsets that were similar to Might Max (awesome). Each playset was in the shape of a vehicle. There was one in particular that was a red train locomotive and it unfolded into a playset. It came with a smaller train that you could push through a haunted forest/ gravyard, up through a skull faced tunnel over a bridge and then tracks circled around and off a cliff. Is there a website where I can go and find all these old toys? Mainly ones from the 90s.I really don't think it was micro machine. But I could be wrong. The second was Hot Wheels Adventures. Transylvania Express. Thanks guys.
Answer:
1. Hot Wheels Key Force

Question : Where can I find older Star Wars Lego sets?
I have recently gotten into collecting some of the Star Wars Lego vehicles and playsets. I'm disappointed that some of the coolest sets seem to be "retired." I've looked online at places like eBay, but the prices are ridiculous. Is there a cheaper place to find some of the older sets?
Answer:
All of the older sets that have been retired are probably only go to be found E-bay. Sure, the prices are expensive, but if any other collector or hobby website on the internet has them, they will probably be a lot more. Some of the Lego Star Wars sets are not as high priced. I just bought a Lego Darth Vader #8010 on ebay for 43 dollars. It retailed for 40, and considering it is a retired set, it was a good deal.
