Questions & Answers
Question : What are durable toys for pitbulls?
I think I've tried every toy and only one has outlasted my pitbull. I give him bones now instead of toys cause within 5 min the toy is dead, and the bones only last a couple hours. The kong has been the only thing that has lasted but I want to get him more than one toy. I've tried ropes, tennis balls, rubber toys, stuffed toys (just about everything)

Question : Does anyone have a dog that used to destroy stuffed toys but dont anymore?
I think its absolutely adorable when dogs walk around with their stuffed animals, etc....they look really happy with their toy....my dog seem to rip off those toys all the time...and her fun is not carrying them around or sleeping beside the stuffed toy, but she likes taken out all the coton and throwing it everywhere...and the tag is always a great target for her......its nice that she finds it fun....but like the toy i bought her today....didnt lasted for more than 2 minutes..... =/any tips? She has 2 kongs and similarly harder toys...but she doesnt like them that much....she seems to like softer toys but she always ends up destroying them....well the toys that squeaks is exactly what i got her...and she ripped the toy into pieces to chew the squeaker but she was more into the throwing the cotton out...... =/

Answer:
If the dog destroys it, it has too much energy for soft play. Buy your dog hard rubber toys and play with your animal, fetch or whatever. When I got my puppy he had a stuffed bunny which was adorable but one day when he got older and more aggressive he ripped it apart playing with it. The dog doesnt understand, you have to buy it appropriate toys.

Question : Which stuffed/plush toy was more successful?
Beanie babies, Cabbage Patch Kids, Furbies or Tickle Me Elmo? How many units were (have been) sold of each?

Answer:
Beanie Babies was the most sucessful, but today it's starting to decline.

Question : Is it abnormal for a twelve year old to play with stuffed toys?
Well I have always been very imaginative and I played with stuffed toys at 12 but more to employ my imagination in something. I loved writing stories and sometimes I would write scripts and play with the toys by the scripts. I know most say it's immature and my cousins thought it was but I enjoyed it because it was like creating stories. In fact my cousin who was my age (12) did like playing with them because she was very imaginative, but didn't as to act mature in front of her sister. What do you think?

Answer:
Well the way u explain makes it a bit mor mature but it's still immature.

Question : Stuffed animals and blanket for a two year old?
My child is almost two. How many stuffed animals and blankets should she sleep with in her crib? When she turned one I was letting her sleep with a small blanket and one stuffed animal. But now she's in the phase where she wants to carry around EVERYTHING with her, toys, stuffed animals, blankets, household items LOL. And she wants more stuff in her crib with her. I gave her two blankets and two stuffed toys just now for her nap. Is that safe?

Answer:
My son turned two in Feb. and is going through the same stage. He wants ALL his stuffed animals in the crib with him. Personally, I don't feel it's harmful, so I pile his stuffies on top of him and his blanky. That makes him very happy and he tends to go to sleep quicker. He usually has about 3-8 stuffed animals in there with him. Two blankets and 2 stuffed toys seems just fine.

Question : What are the interesting and unusual ways to change a stuffed toy monkey so that children will have more fun?
Do not need consider how much it would cost. Just test your creativities.

Answer:
Follow my train of thought here:'Cut the monkey's arms off at the elbow. Then add fabric to the arms to lengthen the arms and reattach the arms that you cut off. Then, add snaps to the hands so the monkey can wrap his arms around things to hang on to, like monkeys like to do. If you can also add snaps behind the monkey's ears so he can cross his left hand over to his right ear while he is monkeying around. You can play with it and see where more snaps would create an interesting pose.If you can arrange it so the monkey can: cover up so he can hear no evil, see no evil and speak no evil, that would be really cool.

Question : What does it mean when a dog eats the faces off of all of its stuffed animals?
My buddy has a 2 year old female golden retriever. He has given his dog several (6 or more) stuffed animal dog toys. Whenever she gets one, she immediately eats the nose, eyes and mouth off the stuffed animal and leaves the rest intact. Why is this?

Answer:
Theres only 1 person who can handle thisThe Dog Whisper

Question : Does your baby play with the labels/tags on her toys more than the toys themselves?
This is a silly question but I'm curious. My baby is fascinated by the labels on her toys. All her stuffed animals have fabric labels sticking out of them and she loves grabbing the labels. She pulls on them and sticks them her mouth or she'll stare at the label in her hand for a long time. My husband and I wondered why all the baby toys had these long labels sticking out of them. Now we are wondering if all babies are fascinated by the labels our just our baby.

Answer:
YES. My son LOVES tags!We got him a 'Taggy Book.'HE LOVES IT!You should get your daughter a TAGGY BLANKET.Look at this website:http://www.taggies.com/cgi-bin/estore/show_entry?index=38It's dedicated to babies who love tags =]They make blankets, toys, books, etc.ALL made of tags! =]

Question : How to wash my dog's stuffed toys??
My dog has these stuffed animals for toys--the kind that has squeakers inside. They've gotten pretty dirty. Should I just toss them and get new ones, or is there an easy way to launder them, so that they are clean, dry fast, and safe for more play? (no cleaning chemical residue that might be licked)

Answer:
Here's my secret for washing both my dogs toys and my kids' prized toys. If they are plastic or rubber, stick them in a bowl of hot water so that they are submerged (leave plenty of room in the bowl though). Add a cup of baking soda and mix a bit. Add vinegar so that it bubbles (a cup or two will do). Scrub tough spots with a bit of baking soda, then rinse. The oldest of rubber dolls and plastic action figures come out like new, and so do those rubber squeak toys. For stuffed toys, fill a sink with hot water. Add a cup of baking soda per gallon of water. Squeeze the animal good to get the mix inside. Then add a few cups of vinegar. It'll bubble out dirt from any stuffing and it sanitizes too. You may have to spot wash really bad places (rub it with a paste of baking soda and dish soap, then rinse it with vinegar). Then run the thing through a rinse cycle in the washing machine. Care bears that have been dragged through mud, squeaky tigers, you name it. Even a few stuffed animals forgotten outside over winter. They come clean.Throw stuffed animals in the dryer on low heat or tumble dry, or just press them between two towels to absorb excess and hang them up over night to dry.It works better than anything else I've found.
