Question : My 8 year old sis is having a birthday slumber party and I was wondering what should I put in the gift bags?
I was thinking during the sleepover the girls could do tie die to their shirts and I could put them in the gift bags. What else?

A lot depends on your budget. Tie die is a cute idea. You could also pick up some fabric glue, sequins, glitter paint, lace, ribbons and fake gems / pearls, and let them dress up tee shirts. Hit a dollar store for bottles of nail polish and candy flavored ' lip gloss' chapstick. Cute notepads, pens, hair accessories, dollar store rings,bracelets and necklaces, sunglasses, funky character socks, stickers, there's really a lot to choose from.You could even have your sister help you choose songs to burn onto cd's to give to her friends Ask for her help in putting the bags together. It will probably make her feel a bit 'grown up' to have some say about what gift bags are.

Answer:
Slumber bags are not as well insulated as a sleeping bag and may not necessarily be water resistant. While you could use one to sleep outside with or camp with, you wouldn't want to use it where night temps go much below 60, they won't keep you warm. They are primarily intended for indoor sleepovers where you bring your own.

Erm, im only 15 so i might be able to help? Why dont you get a quote on how much it would be to hire a disney princess ballroom stlye dress, and have her friends all round for like a mini buffet thing, and have them all stay over. Thats what my friend did for hers and it was lot of fun!, we all bought face masks and brought chick flicks and it was a really nice night :). However, you could just order a pizza get some face masks rent some movies and just chill out but decorate the room?. Or, they could go for a meal at a relitivly cheap restaurant with her parents and some of her closest friends like her best friend and then have the rest over later? :). For the activities pass the parcel is poop! so im guessing now theyre 13 they will want things like a dance off? or put apples in a bowl and fill it with water and bite them out...or you could line them all up and put oranges under their necks and try and pass it, or a balloon in the middle of their legs etc. They need face masks, utilities, any make-up and if they can some movies or sweets that they would like to eat that you dont have, but you need to put down to bring some movies :) that way you arent spending loads on rentals!! ..hope that helps:) xx

Question : How many of you have slumber parties of camp-outs with your kids?
Every couple of weeks, my daughters and I will set up a tent in our living room and have a "camp-out." I'll make smores and hotdogs to eat and tell them stories. We also have sleepovers. For our sleepovers, we pull some sleeping bags into the living room, order pizza, bake cookies and watch a movie together. My kids are only 1 1/2 and 2 1/2. Their dad thinks it weird because we do this at home. I think it's fun for them. I remember my mom doing things like this when I was younger. How many of you do silly things like this for your kids?

I do fun things all the time. When one of us can't sleep and we don't have work or school the next day, we wake the other up and ask if they want a midnight party. We tell gohst stories on a normal night at home as if we are cmaping. We sleep on the hyda bed when we have movie nights. and we play silly games... tonight we played .... 'you smell like'... We took a big sniff of the other person and said what they smell like... it is silly. but when your kid laughs becuase you met them on their level that is cool. You husband may think it's silly, just tell him that kids like silly and he shouldn't crtisize you and he should try getting down to their level. You are making memories

Hi Alicia -- I would first just like address one inaccuracy from the first response, and which I don't know the requirements of BB, PP, or SP, I can say that Pure Romance does not, in fact, require $250 per month. It's $100 every 3 months, which seems pretty reasonable because logically if you aren't doing $100 in retail every 3 months, you're really not doing ANY business!While you're going to find that pretty much every company swears they are the best, look at first how they present themselves - their website, their catalogs, their advertising materials, and if that is a good match for you, because as much as you will represent them, those materials will be the face of your business before you can present yourself.Find out what resources they have for training and what the requirements are. I know that Pure Romance has a tremendous amount of resources available online so I can learn and review best business practices at my leisure.Discover for yourself what opinions your friends and family might have of various companies. Your instinct already might be all that you need.
