Questions & Answers
Question : A Time Travel puzzle?
If a man goes back in time and shoots his father before he (the father) meets the mother of the man who shot his father, what happens to the man who shot his father?

Answer:
It all depends on what theory you consider. If you consider the many-worlds theory( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Many_worlds ), which says that a separate universe is created for every single possibility, than nothing will happen to the man that killed his father, because a new universe will be created where his father died and he does not exist, but he was indeed born in the other universe that he traveled back in time from. Other theories, such as the more common Copenhagen thesis, have large issues in handling such a problem, and so many physicists have speculated that traveling back in time is not possible, or even more simply, this would cause the universe to cease to exist. In that case, the man would most likely be dead. If this isn't enough, look up "grandfather paradox".

Question : What is your favorite section in the Sunday paper?
I like local news, comics, travel, crossword puzzle and I always check the obits.( it is a trait we nurses have well honed over the years!) Have a blessed Sunday, folks!

Answer:
After 50 years of ardently reading the newspaper , I stopped delivery. The newspaper is worse than the drive by media. It no longer reports the facts of a news story. It reports opinion. It either writes a story up or it writes it down or hides something newsworthy inside. Too many times they don't report at all if it doesn't serve their agenda. I use the Internet for news. Also the puzzles and travel etc. Try it. It doesn't cost anything, since you already have the Internet. A good day to you too.

Question : Where can I find free games and jigsaw puzzles to download and play when I am unable to connect online?

Question : What 80's/90's PC game had time travel and puzzles?
You were a young male heroin who went to different realms and had to talk to different people to solve different puzzles. I played it when I was a kid....does anyone have any suggestions?

Answer:
Myst?

Question : What is the computer game from the 90's that takes you through a castle solving puzzles?
I played this game when I was a kid, and I would really like to find it again. All I remember is that you travel through a castle solving puzzles, and it is kind of like a maze too... I think. I also remember there was a jester that appeared occasionally.

Answer:
prince of persia maybe?

Question : Two Puzzles?
Johnson's cat went up a tree, which was sixty feet and three;everyday she climbed eleven, every night she came down seven.Tell me, if she did not drop, when her paws would reach the top.&A squirrel goes spirally up a cylindrical post, makeing a circuit in each 4 feet. How many feet does it travel if the post is 16 feet high and 3 feet in circumference? &If there are 10 blue socks and 16 grey socks in your drawer, and you reach into it in the dark, how many socks must you take out to be sure of getting a pair that matches?

Answer:
First question: 14 days. Each day, the cat would net four feet gained. At the end of the 13th day, the cat would be 52 feet up. The next day, the cat would climb the last 11 feet, making the daily drop for that day irrelevant.Second question: 20 feet. The fact that this is a cylinder makes the puzzle seem harder than it really is. If you were to peel and flatten the ouside of the cylinder (think of turning a globe into a map), you would see that the squirrel is travel on a diagonal that goes across three feet for every four feet it goes up. You can draw the imaginary "across" and "up" lines making a right triangle with the squirrel's "diagonal" path. It's a classic 3-4-5 right triangle, making each circuit 5 feet in length. Since it takes such circuits to reach the top, he will travel a total of 20 feet.Third question: 3. In the first two pulls, you either end up with two blue socks, two grey socks, or one of each. If you get one of each, the third sock you pull will match one of the two.

Question : Can anyone recommend me a adventure book?
Looking for something along the lines of National Treasure (the film) and the Davinci code where a group of people or person must solve puzzles and travel to various places along the way to find answers. If possible i would love for it to be supernatural based.Anyone know of any? Currently thinking of purchasing 'The Historian'. Anyone read this? Any good? Thanks.

Answer:
Alex Rider books (anthony Horowitz), Bartimaeus trilogy (Jonathon Stroud), Eragon (Christopher Paolini), Artemis Fowl (Eoin Colfer), Icemark Chronicles (Stuart Hill), DarkWeaver Legacy + Imperial Series (Mark Robson), The Black Magician Trilogy (Trudi Canavan), Study Trilogy (Maria V Snyder)The historian isn't fast paced adventure book but still v good

Question : Do you know what game involves making blue creatures and taking them home by solving puzzles?
Basically, you start on a stormy island and customize your bubble shaped creatures with different facial parts. Then you go to an island and start "traveling" to their home town by solving puzzles along the way.
