Depends on the seller through Amazon.It's usually true UPS, so it's in a plastic envelope. Sometimes they'll send it in a cardboard box. You can ask for it to be gift wrapped though.From other companies, it depends if it's a high end jewlery company (like Tiffany & Co.) or a low quality one.You'd be better off receiving the package, and wrapping it yourself to make sure it looks perfect for her. =]If that's not an option, just speak to the seller or e-mail the company before they ship it off.

Question : What type of jewelry is best for a belly button piercing?
I have had my belly button pierced for 2 years and all of a sudden it's getting itchy and uncomfortable and I think it may have something to do with the jewelry. I honestly don't know what it is, can't be great though cuz it was less than $20. It's beginning to get a little dark (the piercing). If I change the jewelry will that help the darkness go away?

The best thing would be to sell it/ them to other people not to a store. The store is looking to make a profit. They are not going to give you what you paid for them, a retail price. The store has to sell the piece with their mark up attached to make that profit. So they will offer on average 30-40% of the price you are thinking that it is worth. Also keep in mind that they by law can not sell these items as new pieces, and as such most buyers expect a price cut for that fact. The person(s) that might buy used jewelry from another person outside of a store is most often going to pay closer to the price of what the piece is worth. They are also looking for a deal but they are not trying to turn that profit that the store is. With all that being said if you get 50-70% of retail you did/ will do well. Other options would be to scrap the items and trade them in for the refining money. You will take a bigger hit in how much you get than selling it out right. The same for selling to a pawn shop. Most pawn shops are used to people who are desperate for the money and try to give you as little as possible. Think closer to 10-20% of retail.

And, avoid toothpastes that boast tartar-control or whitening power, as they may include chemicals that can harm your silver. 2. Use a soft dampened cloth to clean more delicate jewelry or softer silvers. Wet the silver and add a dab of toothpaste. Remember that a little goes a long way. Rub gently with the moistened cloth until polished. 3. Add a bit more toothpaste if the cloth becomes dark with tarnish and continue cleaning. Simply wash the darkened toothpaste foam from the jewelry piece, rinse the cloth and begin again. 4. Scrub your costume jewelry gently with a toothbrush for stubborn tarnish or hard to reach grooves.
