Question : Can anyone recommend an indestructable plush dog toys?
My dog Natsha loves plush, squeaky toys, but I have yet to find a toy that could withstand her teeth. She is an older dog, but must have teeth as solid as Stonehenge, because she destroys her toys within 5-10 minutes.She has toys like Kongs and things like that, but she doesn't like them as well as she does the squeaky toys.

Sure go to Planet Dog.com they have toys ranked by their chew- o- meter. Their toys are the very best. They are located in Portland, ME. By the way my dog hate Kong stuff!!!!!

Question : Is Febreze safe on plush dog toys?
I made the mistake of putting a slobbered up plush toy in a plastic tote with the other toys and such when I moved and now everything stinks. I tried washing them and hanging them outside but it didn't work. Obviously I would let it dry completely before letting my dog play with it, but it would still be in their mouth. What do you think?
Answer:
I would not Febreeze the dog toy. Try adding baking soda to the wash as it may take the smell out and then hang it out or lay it out to dry in the sun. The sun is a good helper to get rid of smells. Worth a try. I have done it before with some of my beagle toys and its worked on some and others I just had to throw away and replace.

Question : Is it alright to give a puppy/dog a child's plush/stuffed animal toy?
I have a lot of old stuffed animals, but I'm not sure if they are safe for a dog or puppy. Would I be able to give it these, or must I purchase specifically made dog plushes?
Answer:
We used to give my dogs old stuffed animals all of the time and they were just fine with them. Must got ripped to shreds, with a lot of clean-up for me, but it was worth it b/c they were happy!!!

Question : How do I wash my dog's stuffed/plush toys?
I've noticed that some of my dog's plush toys look kind of dirty so I want to wash them but how do I do this? Can these plush toys (all of them have squeakers in them) be put in the washing machine and then in the dryer or should I just squeeze the water out and leave them to dry?when i put them in the washing machine, should i put the setting to hot or cold water?

I put all my dogs toys in the washer and dryer.It doesn't seem to matter.But sometimes the stuffing all gets pushed to one side and you have to even it out my messing with the toy a little.

The paws were round and made of a soft plastic/rubber so they resisted when pulled and made the dog look like it was walking. There was a long haired white one and a short haired white one with brown spots. there were other types too I think. They were probably a foot in length and maybe a little taller than a foot.
