Questions & Answers
Question : bypass my bose amp?
i have a 2008 trailblazer with onstar and bose audio, i also have a jensen vm9312 in-dash with a PAC data bus wiring harness. im trying to hook up my subwoofer but cant get it to work?? wat do i do now, im sick of take my truck apart and still not having a working subwoofer.
Answer:
I have a 2000 bonneville SSEI w/ BoseI took my car to the local audio shop and this is what i was told to do and it works wonderful. If you can tap into your speaker wires in the rear you can hook up a line level converter($10) from those speakers and hook your RCA cable up to that converter then to your amp. Questions please ask, I had a tough time myself so i know what your going through!:)As the guy stated before me, my information is not what you need if you ARE trying to use a stock subwoofer

Question : Cummins 6.75 diesel won't shut down?
Switched OFF the ignition of my 6.75 Cummins engine and it slowed as if shutting down and then kept running. Every 5-6 seconds it tried to quit and then returned to run mode. Was able to stop the motor by pulling the ECM 30 amp fuse. But when I reinstall the fuse I can hear something clicking on the engine even though the ignition is OFF and the key out. For the time being I have taken the ECM fuse back out. Anyone had this happen or have an idea what is causing this. Can't get the bus to the shop for 2 days. It's a 2008 Thomas Saf T Liner w/ an Allison automatic and the engine is similar to the unit installed in the Dodge Ram trucks.
Answer:
Fuel shut off not working or stuck.Diesels run by compression not plugs so only way they stop is shutting fuel off.Giving you a link with pic of valve so you'll know what it looks like.http://www.dieselspecialists.net/dodg.html

Question : What is the biggest battery I can find for car audio?
I want a battery with REALLY HIGH amp hour ratings.I’m thinking about an XS power battery. It puts out 125AH i believe. But here is a thought. What about a group 8D battery. Batteries used in buses and big trucks. There AH range from 225-255? Is there one made for car audio purposes so I can safely put it in my trunk and feel secure knowing that it wont leak acid in the trunk?
Answer:
Just use more than one in parallel. You can get as much current as you want.
