A Morphibian Radio Control Vehicle uses 4 x 4 power to tackle the most rugged terrain and churn through water, in response to radio signals that come from the antenna on the controller in your hand. What's the difference between an amphibian and a Morphibian? An amphibian is an animal capable of living both on land and in water. Why be limited by roads? For kids, it's the path to adventure. Vehicle takes 3 AA batteries, controller takes 2 AAA batteries (not included). Morphibians runs on the same frequencies. For ages 5 and up. Available Styles: Black and Silver Cobra, Black Orca, Blue Land Shark, Green 'Gator, Orange Explorer. Approx. 8" x 5" x 6"

Answer:
Yes. Those subs, when wired in parallel, will be 2ohms...and each sub wants 150W RMS (300W RMS total for the pair). That amp is rated at 275x1@2ohms but kicker underrates their amps so I would expect it to actually be about 300-350W which would provide the optimal power to those subs.

Question : how much is this stereo system worth?
there is this car i want to buy and it has a cool stereo system in it.but before i buy the car(which is in great shape)i would like to know how much the stereo system is worth.it has a pioneer radio with a remote control.its a 4x50.it has 6 inch mtx speakers in the doors and 300 watt 6 by 9's in the rear.plus a 1000 watt amp and a 12 inch kicker crv sub in the trunk.whats your thoughts?

Answer:
Not a whole lot unless it's top of the line. The fact is that used electronics is only worth half or less it's brand new value. After all mechanical parts do wear out over period of use. Most aftermarket radios come with a remote, so that isn't special. Even though the radio states 4x50, it only puts out about 12-20 real watts per channel. A 1000 watt (max rating?) amp and 12" sub is fairly common, but is overkill for the rest of the system. Probably is going to need a outboard amp for the mids/highs to get it to really perform. All I'm saying is they seemed to use decent brand components, but I wouldn't put stock in it being worth a load of money. Just a mediocre install since most would run at least a 4 channel amp and a mono block for sub. If they are factoring it in at a brand new price, Tell them to strip the stereo out and lower the price of the car by the amount they say the stereo is worth. You can put your own in, do it even better, and for probably less money. If it's worth it to you then get them to take enough off the price to buy a 4 channel amp to finish it.

Question : 2 questions...1 what is an "amp fuse" 2 what all do you need to use a receiever?

Answer:
ok the fuse is in the back of the radio it, fuses are for anything electrical in your car, the purpose of a fuse is to protect the electrical equipment in case it gets to hot or in case any wires may cross an overload the equipment. the fuse will blow so it stops the current going to the unit so it doesnt catch on fire or damage it. its like a circut breaker you have in your home. if you plug to much stuff on one circut the circut breaker will blow so you dont cause a fire in the house, same concept.now you asked what else do you need ? nothing as far as what i see that you wrote down you pretty much have everything you need to install the radio. you just need the correct tools to take the old radio out, an you will need wire cutters/strippers an butt connectors or electrical tape to connect the wires. also in my oppionion the first radio you listed is better than the second one. but i also want you to note that the brand dual...SUCKS!! i mean if your just looking to replace your factory radio an go cheap than ypour ok, but if your planning on hooking up subs an amps i dont recommend buying a dual radio or anything else thats dual. i mean dual will work for a system but its very low end an low quality brand. anyways if you need any help hooking up the radio an have questions feel free to email me. good luck.

Question : why doesnt my amp turn off when my radio is off?
i turn my car and radio off but the little blue button on my remote bass control knob doesnt go off neither does the light on the actual amp. i just recently disconnected my battery to put back a wire from the amp that came loose. everything works now but the light doesnt go off. it did beforeim sure the remote wires are installed right because i never had a problem before i disconnected the battery!

Answer:
Bad remote wire all together.... Run a remote... Before you do that, Check the ground... Question, Your remote wire is hooked up to something that only turns on when the key turns right. But i would run a new remote wire, 16 gauge.

Question : Got 2 12" Alpine Type Xs, will this amp work?.....?
Wussup audio enthusiast. I got 2 12" Alpine Type Xs, and a small buget. I have the chance to purchase 2 kicker ZX750s off Ebay for around $150-175 a piece...will these pust the Xs enuff for now? Heres the amps' specs: * Mono subwoofer ZX Series car amplifier * Class-D Design * 375 watts RMS x 1 channel at 4 Ohm * 750 watts RMS x 1 channel at 2 Ohm * Three automatic turn on modes * Removable top for easy customization * Input gain control * Variable Low-pass crossover * Differential inputs eliminate noise and improve Factory radio capability * Remote bass control * KICKEQ™ Bass Boost * Frequency response: 25-200 Hz * Signal to noise: 95dBThey say they're 1500w @ 2ohm but thats the 'PEAK'...is there a way to really get that much out of it? Will 750w push the subs nicely? If I got the kicker ZX2500, how much power would it put into each sub?

Answer:
Using Both amps at 2 ohms you should be very happy. They should work fine with one amp at 1 ohm also if the amp is stable. I don't know whether it is or not though.

Question : How do you hook up an aftermarket amplifier in a car with Navigation? if it helps, my car is an 07 Lexus ES350
I am adding a sub to my car and I am curious on the process that someone would go through to do this. I am going to add a 12" Rockford fosgate sub and a Kenwood amplifier. I am going to fun a remote cable for easy bass adjusting up to the driver's seat. The only problem is I don't know how someone would hook it up to the radio itself. I have the ML system with NAV and all I am doing is adding this sub to it, I'm not changing anything stock whatsoever. how would it work to have it hooked up? Would the volume on the sub be turned up with the radio volume? even though I have the bass remote and controls on the amp itself, will the sub's bass be increased when I increase the Stock system's bass? What I am trying to say is that I want to control the bass of the stock and the sub separately, (remote vs. controls on the NAV system) but I want the volume of the sub to go up with the radio! Is this possible? Thanks so much, I really appreciate it if someone can help me with this

Answer:
The 07 Lexus uses the head unit to send data to the factory amp to control the volume, balance, tone etc. There is a circuit inside the amp that actually changes these settings. In order to add another amp, you will need to use a line output converter (LOC) to provide the audio signal for the amp. This would be connected to the factory speaker wires past the factory amp. This will allow the volume of the new amp to change with the volume of the factory system. You can adjust the gain setting on the new amp to balance the two amps.

Question : 2002 Ford Focus factory radio remote amp turn on wire?
O.K, I know that there is not a factory amp in the car other than the one in the head unit. I am looking at putting in a "stealth" system that will utilize the factory radio/CD unit in the dash, with a large dose of signal processing from Audio Control. I already have the line level signal tapped off of the now defunct speaker wires. Q-form kick panels with Boston Acoustic separates, 12" (Boston) subs, with 2 Soundstream amps under the seats in fan cooled stainless steel boxes. Here is the the sticking point - which wire should I use as the remote turn on? There is no power antennae wire, no remote wire that I have found or seen on any diagram. I hate to have to tap into an unrelated circuit to use as a turn on switch. Any ideas? Has anyone run into this before? When I called an installation shop (higher end) they said "bring it in". No s**t, I'm sure they can do it and charge me, but this is all being done by myself (with your help) in my garage. Thanks.KaeZoo- Thanks, I had such tunnel vision on the head unit I missed the forest for the trees.

Answer:
Doesn't your AudioControl processor include a signal-sensing auto turn-on circuit and a +12VDC turn-on output? I thought this was a standard feature on all their OEM integration pieces. Without that, your best option might be to tap into the accessory power source at the head unit. That would turn your system on and off with the key switch. It's not ideal, but it works. Otherwise you'd need a signal-sensing turn-on module: much like the one that should be built into your processor.

Answer:
yes the amp will work with those subs fine. i couldnt see where in the sub info where it says if your subs are dual or singe voil voil. this will determine how much power youll be getting. if they are dual voice coil youll be running the amp at 4 ohms and only getting 150 watts. but if its single (hopefully) youll get more power by running the amp at 2ohms and getting 300 watts. but either way it will work. one way is just louder

Question : How to remote control my lawnmower? I have futaba radio and receiver hooked to (ESC), but no reverse function?
I have two 12 v dc motors run off a car battery, continually charged by a car 50 amp alternator run by the 6.5 h.p. lawnmower engine. One motor driving each rear wheel. I am controlling with a "Futaba" transmitter and reciever through a 12-15 volt 50 amp electronic motor speed controller to the two motors. When I hooked it up for a first trial, it resulted in three problems. I'll list them in order of importance to me but anybody answering any of them will be GREATLY appreciately by me!1. There is no reverse function2. When I release the joystick on the transmitter and it springs back to center, the motor should stop right? It doesen't. It doesn't stop untill I push the lever all the way towards the opposite direction from which I want the motor to turn. Kinda like even if there was reverse, I wouldn't have enough joystick movement to reach it.3. The motor speed controller has a "BEC" 3 v battery eliminator circuit. I still need to hook up my 4 cell battery pack to use it?. HELP!

Answer:
For part 3 - "BEC" or Barrety Elimination Circuitry (I think) is a wiring that takes power from the main battery (think of the main battery pack on an RC car) instead of needing a piggy back pack for the ESC, so as I understand it you need the 4 cell pack to run the ESC. If I could get a hands on ans actually see it that would probably help.
