And if you have an iPod karaoke machine, do you...-Upload karaoke CDs on iTunes?-Buy special songs on iTunes?-Or can you just use the music you already have?I was just wondering which way to do it so that the lyrics show up on the screen.

If you have a machine, then yes, you have to buy special CDs.For ipod karaoke, you have to buy the tracks on itunes I believe.You could try downloading some free karaoke software at PureSolo.com and buying tracks from the online music store. Using the free software, you get lyrics on-screen and you can record your performance with a microphone. Plus you can burn to CD afterwards! Good luck

You are going to want a karaoke machine that plays songs from an internal hard drive. Once you load a disc into the machine you never need to load that disc again. like the title says, I'm looking for a karaoke machine that can play multiple disks so I don't need to change disks as often. I've seen one before, but the ratings on it were horrible so yea...also hoping its less then $250, but these things are never cheap so yea...help?

Karaoke disc players are slowly being replaced by hard drive players just like CD players are being replaced by mp3 players. What you should be looking for is a karaoke player that plays songs from a hard drive or portable device. Or possibly use your computer and software instead of a karaoke machine.

CD+G stands for "Compact Disc plus Graphics". Although you can play regular CD on a CD+G player there will be no graphics (onscreen lyrics).

You can usually get a fairly cheap one at Walmart. You don't need a good quality one until you find out if she is going to use it. It just might end up collecting dust in her room. It is the disks that cost money and you can use them in another machine if the first one quits working.
