Questions & Answers
Question : Is there any stores that sale ps2 games around 2000-2011?
I've just got a ps2 and 2 controllers from a sale and 3 games for 10 bucks. My friend also gave me an extra controller and a stack of games which were around 2003-2006. I'm really interested in getting some games that are 2000-2011.
Answer:
So basically you're looking for any PS2 game ever since it came out in 2000 and they're still releasing small numbers of PS2 games in 2011. Gamestop still sells plenty.

Question : Where can I go to exchange my computer games for money?
I have a whole stack full of sims games and I want to pawn them but no pawn shops will take computer games.. where can I go to exchange it for money?
Answer:
I don't think you can sell computer games to any store, stores always seem to sell computer games brand new only, but you can always sell computer games used online, such as eBay.

Question : Is it legal to sell or display rigged games?
There is this game called "stacker" i play at the mall that allows you to win major prizes like an xbox 360 or wii. the object of the game is to stack all of the light blox on top of each other in a line while the blocks are moving side to side.however, i heard that the manufacturer set the allowance to win to 1 in 800.Is this kind of thing legal, since it is false advertising/cheating? could this be grounds for some kind of lawsuit?
Answer:
How much does this game cost to play? If it's a quarter or fifty cents and one in 800 wins, then the company is probably loosing money (those games cost a lot more than $200). Look at the odds of winning the lottery, those odds are astronomical and the state lets it go without another look. Take Care- Gonzo

Question : How do companies that buy and sell used games come up with what they will pay you?
Ok I dont usualy sell my games back because they war worth more to me than what I have heard some stores pay, but I have a decent stack of games I would rather have not bought. I need to know how the companies like gamespot or other places come up with what they will pay for the games. Or at least what the average price is for them. Thanks for the info posted so far. I may place comments for individuals who have posted. Please feel free to check back or not its up to you. K C= I understand what your sayin about the sports games I heard a kid selling some games at a local game store they wouldnt pay more than 25 cents a peice for most his games some due to being sports titles. Thats why I have refused to resell my games due to the fact that they are worth more than 25 cents to collect dust on my shelves after I have spent $60+ on them. Im also happy im not a fan of sports video games they feel redundant. If I want to play a sport I go outside and play it.
Answer:
It's based on sales. If a game is selling a lot, then it's a good game, so GS will pay a little over 50% of the game's original worth and then resell it for about 80% of the original price. If a game isn't selling well and a lot of people are selling the game back, then GS will pay less than 50% of the original worth.

Question : what physics is used in the Minute To Win It games?
i have to do a project for school where i explain different physics concepts from the game show "Minute To Win It." For example, the "Office Dominoes" game, that uses stacks of office paper as a huge dominoes game, is that momentum? please tell me which specific games incorporate which specific physics concepts. Thanks ;)
Answer:
I have seen a couple of the shows and yes the office dominoes would be momentum. By stacking the paper you are creating a potential energy due to the height, when a force is applied to the end domino, that potential energy is converted into kinetic energy since it is falling over, which creates momentum. This momentum then is used to create a force (an impulse) on the next domino and that goes on and on until the end. Another game I saw was the one where they had to blow a ping pong ball from one cup to the other. The physics in this is in the air pressure. When the person blows over the top of the ball, the moving air reduces the pressure over the top of the ball. Since the pressure over the top of the ball is less then on the bottom, the ball is forced upwards.

Question : What happens if your games fall over?
I'm sure we've all had this happen to us. When you stack cases of games in a row, sometimes you may slip up when you're taking one out or something and the cases might fall over on each other like a stack of dominoes. If/when this happens, can the game discs inside the cases be physically damaged in any way?
Answer:
Maybe if your game shelf is suspended 100ft in the air then it might be damaged. It doesn't do any damage because the game is secure inside the case. This happened to me a lot and it got really annoying. So I *borrowed* one of those things that holds up books in our school library and it hasn't happened to me since...

Question : can stacking games horizontally hurt the discs?
and if so, whats the limit it can stand. thanks!
Answer:
and if so, whats the limit it can stand. thanks!

Question : how do ou cheat on games at arcades or at least win them?
when u go to arcades and they have those games where u move the stick thingie up and down til u get to those lil tiny slots u stick in the stick thing abd get the ipod or whatever? or those stack games where u get mega prizes? just gimme some strategies!!!!!or tell me how to cheat and win them at least!!!!!luv yall, mai
Answer:
I have no idea what the first thing is, try to use proper spelling on here. However, that stack game is impossible. I'm not even exaggerating. Basically, at the top prize, there's an option the employees can do to make it impossible, if you landed on it, it'll make it look like you were one off.

Question : How much of an advantage is it to have a large stack at NL ring games?
I was recently playing at a NL 50 max buy in table and had worked my stack up to around $250. The player with the second most money only had $60. I had an errand to run so I had to give up my spot at the table. Should I have stayed at the table and continued playing for a bunch more hours? How much of an advantage is it to have the entire table outstacked by so much? What strategies can I apply when I get in this situation again? Thanks for any help!
Answer:
in a cash game, the advantage is completely psychological and monetary...someone in a game that small probably doesn't have a whole lot of money to throw around, and they know in their mind that whenever they play a pot with you, they could get broke, so they'll play carefully against you and go out of their way to stay out of your pots...therefore, you'll want to be very aggressive and try to push the table around, and if you find it doesn't work, then you can shift back to your normal game and have the added advantage of your opponents having seen you play a much looser game than normal...however, in bigger cash games that advantage is diminished significantly because most players have more money and won't be afraid to get broke against you, and won't be intimidated so easilyin tournaments, you have the same advantages but you can really exploit them better because of the fear of getting busted...you can use the chip advantage you have to gamble more and play more aggressively and try to gain more chips and increase your advantage
