Question : How come sports games don't advance in game engines?
Im not much of a crazy guy on game engines and graphics and all that, but while play 2k11 and madden 11, i look at those graphics and then look at the ones like, Halo Reach, Crysis 2, etc etc.I mean the sports games look nice but they still look outdated compared to todays game engines, could it be because they have a very limited time in making these games for release before season?Someone knowledgeable please explain?

I'm looking in the dump bins at Walmart, and the lowest priced PS2 games on amazon.com... why is 95% of the cheapo games always sports games? and the remaining 5% are games based on crappy kids shows. I guess nobody wants these type of games and that is why they sell them off so cheap or what?

Question : Why, in sports games, do they show the home team logo on the court or field, upside down?
Sometimes, in minor televised sports games, sometimes high school games, they show the logo on the middle or court or field upside down. Even in televised Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey home games, the logo looks more like a W than an M. Why?

the logo faces the crowd it doesnt go wherever the camera wants it too.

Question : How important is the Wii Motion Plus in sports games?
I recently just got a Wii, but I don't have a Motion Plus gadget.. I'm wondering how it will affect my MLB 2k10 game and other sports series games. Is the Motion Plus CRUCIAL in playing these? since the game won't pick up my movements with only the sensor that comes with the Wii.

i don't think MLB supports wii motion plus. It is only compatible with certain games and will no make a difference to your game. Games like Wii Sports Resort require motion plus where as some games have it as an option.

But I never heard about it apart from that friend; Yahoo didn't have it and I don't know what local newspapers had it before the game happened - only after the game.
