Question : Singapore women single table tennis needs to change style of playing!?
Just watched this evening youth olympics table tennis women single final and was so disappointed. Below are what I observed and wish to point out:1) Singapore young woman table tennis player was LUCKY enough to get into the final because her opponents were weak throughout the preliminary rounds up to the semi-finals.2) Singapore young woman player will SURE be defeated if she was to meet North Korean Kim in either of the rounds at the first place. Isabelle will not have any chance to go into the FINAL.3) Singapore woman player cannot use the same old method which Li Jia Wei and the rest were using all along (which is the soft approach). There is no way Singapore woman to reach the next Olympics games with this same old 'SOFT' method to approach the China or North Korean opponents. Mark my words!4) Have to learn and watch how the North Koreans table tennis in their strong attacking and counter approaches.5) China Gu was exhausted after the long 7 matches with the North Korean Kim in the quarter finals and this actually serve as a good chance to attack her in tonight's final match if Isabelle is to use North Korean Kim's method of strong attacking against her to wear her out.6) China real opponent is North Korea in women table tennis.7) The reason why tonight China Gu defeated Singapore Isabelle so quickly is because her arm was exhausted after the match against North Korea Kim and in order to stop her pain, she quickly finishes off the Final game fast in order to rest.Conclusion: Singapore women table tennis (either the youth or national level) need to change style and there are too many room of improvement to be made by not using the same old method.

Question : Generation Y (Ages 15-24) Would you play this game at your school/university?
The sport is Xtreme Table Tennis or Hantis. Four people and four tables placed anywhere (preferably near 1 or 2 walls, or completely enclosed like a racquetball room) make up the play area. A tennis ball is served like in ping pong then the team must return the ball back. The object of the sport is to keep the ball in play, while making it difficult for the opposing team to return. All walls/fences/trees/anything can be used to hit the ball off of. Question : Need to loose 11 pounds (5kgs) - who can give me the best advice?
I am nearly 6 feet tall (180cm) and weigh 209 lbs. (95kgs). I've already lost 11 pounds over the past 3 months and now I seem to be blocked. I continue to eat small portions, have cut back 90% on the wine and booze and play intense table tennis games several times a week and go for hour long walks when not in the game room. I’m a big boned person, pretty muscular but I’d like to deflate the spare tire some. Hi. Ok I just met my dads gf sons, He is one year odler then me. Well the other day we were at this other persons house and i was with the adults and he was with his brother and another guy. Well when i was being given the tour he came out of the game room and looked for me and asked for me and like brought me in. Then while eating dinner all of us "kids" ate at a seperate circle table. there were five seats. Lets call him Mark. Well mark sat right next to me in elbows distnace when there was another seast to sit in not as close to me, He glanced at me smiley in the game room. Then yesterday when we went on a walk as a family( my dad, his gf, the two sons and me) and then mark would turn around and smile at me or make a joke. He also made a joke about how good of a tennis player i was. Lastly he said he " i think its really cool how you get all a's and upset if you have a 98. i could never do that" He also always says good bye to me before i leave. I dont know is he trying to be nice or could there be something more? Thanks:)girl?

Question : i Miss my older bro...can u relate at all?
Im 16... my brother is 3 years older than me and we've always been best friends. I grew up being more of a tomboy I guess which made us have so much in common and thats why we are so close. He's just turned 20 and had an unexpected beautiful baby with his girlfriend and has moved out. He also stopped working for my dad at home and got a job. I know its all a part of growing up and that it will all happen to everyone eventually. But its happened so quickly. Its kind of all of a sudden im left an only child and i feel lonely ALL the time. My parents miss him alot aswell... we only get to see him maybe once a week. But the thing is when I do see him, we never do what we used to do. and I understand that cause of new priorities. But the thing is we used to do everything, played video games ALL the time haha, play soccer, basketball, trampoline, table tennis, run together, he used to help me with my maths every single night, we used to stay up until after midnight playing guitar together. And now im on holidays off school...and its the first school holiday where hes not here. Im a type of person that is always high on life and im always helping friends out with their problems...I never bring up any of my problems with anyone...my parents have been noticing that im heaps quiet lately.At school im soo happy..cause I am with my friends all day, they are like my family..then when I come home in the afternoon, i have nothing to do... all night, i have nothing to do. And this is the first time in all my life that i haven't wanted a holiday from school.My parents know that I miss him.. because they miss him too. But they dont know im that sad that most nights I just cry myself to sleep. I still do the things that make me happy... guitar, skating, art, paint, animals, playing games.. But none of it is the same on my own. i found repeatedly Throwing a Frisbee up in the air and standing waiting for it to fall down isnt really fun at all. and watching our favourite movies isnt as funny as what they were. I also lose my apetite quite a bit these days. I dont know. I dont really know what im feeling. I guess im just confused as with what to do with myself these days... and im wondering if anyone else can relate to me. I dont know. i dont even know why im typing all this out.haha And the thing that annoys me alot is that they only live about 5 minutes away.. but i couldnt just go over there when i wanted to and say hey its me...ive come to chill lets play monopoly. Cause its not like that...i guess we arent extremely close to her family to feel welcomed to pop in whenever we feel like it.i do not know. sometimes i find myself just standing in the middle of a room staring at the ground WTF HAHAHAHAH!

I'm 17 by brothers 21. We used to be super close. We did the exact things you said you did with your brother, and I love him to death. Eventually me and him got token away from our min and lived with my g parents. He eventually moved out because things wernt working for him. I really missed him. I never got to see him. Maybe once a month if I was lucky. But when we did see eachother it wasn't the same. I felt like we had grown apart. We didn't do the same ol' fun things anymore and u really missed that. But recently I had gone out to lunch with him and his feyonce and we were talking about all the good times we had as a kid and he realized how much he misses me and I missed him. Now he wants to start going out to lunch with only me every few weeks or so. You could let your brother know you miss him and set up some days where you guys hangout and reconnect and have the strog relationship that's still there :) have fun, hope it a works out :)

Of course I would put in a bar, dining room table, a ball dance floor with great music band (like Dancing with the Stars), a larger playroom for kids with mini pool, toys, candyland, swing, sandbox, basketball goal, workout gym room, with a running field, mini golf, tennis, spa and massage room, kids' merry-go-around carousel, small petting zoo, McDonalds, tacobell, pizza hut, marie callendar and cheesecake factory, red lobster restaurants, also fancy restaurant. And also, wheel of fortune and price is right, along with casino and bingo game night, Learn how to cook from a chef kitchen, movie theatre....But most cruise ships are very boring... they have bar over here, bar over there, large casino taking up most room, small dull playroom for kids, dining tables here and there, chairs everywhere, just for people to sit all day and chat, small room for few arcades and pinball machines. more bar room with karoke, and stage with dancers and shows... that is it. and oh small spa and swimming pool and more swimming pool,.... yawn.

Are you kidding? Have you been on the latest Royal Caribbean ship Oasis of the Seas? This ship has everything! The only thing I didn't see was self-serving laundromats (which can still be expensive) to wash your own clothes. Other than that, it has everything you need on a cruise ship and then some. Movie theatre, barber shop, even areas where there is REAL GRASS. Try going on the Oasis of the Seas or the Allure of the Seas. You'll change your mind.
