Questions & Answers
Question : Does my crush like me back?
Okay, so basically, I've been hanging out with this guy for a few months now and we're great friends. And I've started to develop a crush on him..I just can't seem to tell if he likes me back. A lot of my friends tell me that he most definitely looks like he likes me, but I'm still not convinced.See, ne minute, he's all sweet, and keeps hugging me, then other times, when he's with his friends, he barely even looks at me.Maybe you'll be able to tell..One day, we hung out at a friend's house, and he would always come and talk to me after each foosball game. He started to tease me a little about my eyesight (I'm near-sighted. Everthing that is far away is blurry to me). Like one time, I mistook this group of chairs for a piano, and I said "hey, I didn't knoe they had a piano here!". He couldn't stop laughing.. So then when he stopped laughing, he asked "has anyone ever told you that you're pretty?". I blushed, and shook my head. "apart from my mom? No one.." thqt, of course was another one of my stupid 'jokes'. He chuckled and replied "well, you're really pretty..". I said "thanks". Then he asked if i liked anyome from my school (he doesn't go to my school) and i answered no, and said that the boys at my school were all ugly and stinky. Then i returned the question "so.. Is there anyone you like from you school?"He nodded slowly and admitted that he liked someone from his class, but that he didn't think that she liked him back. So that really confused me. The fact that he called me really pretty, andthen told me that he liked someone else. There was this other time when he came over to my house, andwe went up to my room, an we talked for a few hours about eachother, and realized that we had much more in common than he thought. We listened to the same bands, and I even introduced him to some new ones, whixh he really seemed to like. Then, a song that he knew came on, and he started to sing along to it quietly. It was adorable!!He kept teasing me and challenging me, and poking me, and hitting my arm. It was a little annoying, and childish, but, who cares??Then there was this other time when some of our friends and us went out to play soccer. He was determined to have me on his team, which i didn't understand why, because I sucked at soccer, and I only tagged along because some of my friends also went, and because 'he' was there too. After i had injured many people, I decided that I should quit, because I kept missing the ball, and I'm not that much of a sports person. But he insisted on me staying, which was sweet. He even asked me if I was cold, which I misheard, because I thought he is asked if I called. I said "uh, no sorry, i didn't call...", after making hin repeat the question a few times. He sighed and said "i need to work on my english. I asked if you were cold..".But then I have this HUGE problem. One of my friends, one of my closest friends, also likes him. A lot. And she's 11 or something (i'm 13, and so is the guy). And this girl is really mature for her age. She behaves like a 13 year old.But she keeps telling me that she thinks that he likes me, and she asks me if I like him, but I don't want to hurt her by saying " yes, I like this guy a lot. A LOT", o instead i either say "I Don't know" or just simply "no".Once, i even called him immature, just to mzke her believe my lie. I also made her promise that she wouldn't tell him, but I think she still did, because ever since I told her, the guy in question has been a lot more distant. So, first off, i would like to apologize for the length of this, and second, I want you guys to tell me honestly, if you think that he likes me. Please, be honest. And third, if he does like me, and if my friend did actually tell him that I supposedly don't like him back, can you please give m some advice on how to take back whatI told my friend?Thank you so much!Oh, and in case you're wondeeing, no, he doesn't behave like that around other girls.

Answer:
Oh god.... Im in a similar situation.. But i think he has mixed feelings for you. And if he does like you, he might think now (if she did tell him) that you dont like him.. Ask him if she told him anything, and if he says "yes" Then explain why, either You just wanted her off your case, or something else.. You can even try being straightforward and asking him if he likes you. Im 13 as well. You should try and answer mine to! PLEASE. But honestly, if your friend likes him, you should talk to her, but dont lie to her, you could lose her as a friend if you guys do end up dating. I hope this helped. GOOD LUCK! :D

Question : renting mansions in palos verdes or near?
is it possible, near or in palos verdes, to rent mansions with a pool, jacuzzi, game room including foosball and ping pong, and also a firepit for one night?

Answer:
No. If you are going to rent something like that, they generally want you to rent by the week or the month. Mansions like that would be vacation rentals. One night rentals just don't pay. If you do get one, it will be close to the weekly rate anyway. (figure $3000+)

Question : What's best for cement walls?
I have a large basement with cement floor and walls. I want to convert it into a game room, for a pool table, foosball, etc. What is the best thing to do with the walls? I think I want to paint them and possibly do some stencil work of sports logos, etc. (Don't really want to use drywall, etc as it CAN get mildly damp down there when we have local flooding) What is the most durable paint that can be used on cement that comes in colors that would work in a game room?

Answer:
Cement walls, if bare, should first be painted with a masonry sealer/primer, something like Dry-Lock. This will be the most effective way of keeping out moisture that's worked through the concrete. Then paint over that with any water based latex. Before painting, though, check to see if there's moisture in the walls since that will tend to make the paint peel if you don't seal the concrete first. Just tape a 2' x 2' piece of clear plastic to the wall, sealing all the edges. After a day or two look for water condensation forming on the wall side of the plastic. If you see condensation, water vapor has migrated into the concrete. That's okay, but it means you MUST seal the concrete first or you'll be repainting very often. Good Luck!

Question : whose line is it anyways bday party?
my bday is in like 18 days and i am going to be 13. I am a girl. would it be stupid to have a game like whose line is it anyways there? i cant figure out a theme. i am (hopefully) renting a room with foosball and pool tables. i am also getting a cake made. this is the only big party i can have until i turn 16 so i want to remember it. i dont know what kind of cake i want, what colors i want, what music i want, and what games i want to play there. most of my friends are kinda shy and i dont want a dance cause i dont have enough people. suggestions?oh and i dont know what food. pizza? i was thinking a luau and getting pineapple and ham pizza but i dont know! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!dont be rude.....they arent kids games either. but i am not gonna play wpin the bottle or anything. gosh

Answer:
Foosball and pool tables are great entertainment! As far as "whose line is it anyways"... I guess you mean lines from songs, movies, etc.? You can build a game out of popular Disney movies and pop songs that you and all your friends are familiar with. The winner of each answer can get a lei (luau idea) to wear and take home (have plenty for everyone). Have a pineapple upside down cake and pizza / munchies with a tropical punch. Punch: take a watermelon and cut lengthwise / scoop out the melon. Pour chilled punch mix in the melon "bowls" and drop in chunks of watermelon. Buy the little umbrellas or plastic toothpicks and put one or two cherries on each to serve up in the cups.Have fun!

Question : "Professional" Foosball Tables?
I am looking for a very specific type of foodball table. The table must include these three things:1. ONE Goalie2. Ramps on the corners so if the ball goes there, it rolls back into play3. Figurine players must be able to stand straight up with their legs in the air and not roll back down. Here is a picture of what I am looking for.http://cnj.craigslist.org/tag/1487068832.htmlDoes anyone know of any specific stores that sell something similiar to this? Or any game-room stores that I should check out online?

Answer:
Aloha Jeff, A three-man goalie rod can be modified to a single goalie with a conversion kit. The three-man goalie configuration was designed to allow the goalie to maneuver the foosball out of corners, and the option to pass the foosball to your forward, three-bar offense bar. Many foosball figurines should be able to be placed vertically if it is balanced. However, this position, is not recommended if you, or your opponents like to hit the ball as hard as possible. There is a higher chance that the ball may accidentally hit the head(s) of a foosball figurine and interfere with your shot. The best position is to place the figurines horizontal, and off the playing field. Please follow the website links I provide for more foosball information, table and parts suggestions, rules, tips, and movie clips, etc. The foosball table, or similar types are available online, and most likely, in your local sporting goods store. Please try a few foosball tables before you decide on you purchase. Each foosball table has a different feel to the handles, table surface, rods, foosball men, and even the foosbalI itself. I used to play on Quarter Million Dollar foosball tables, "Brown Tops" Tournament Soccer, Dynamos, Shelti, Bonzini, and currently, my favorite, Tornado. However, you will have to make your own decision on which foosball table feels right to you. I hope that I was able to help you find some answers. Good luck in finding the right foosball table for you.Alex T., Co-Moderator, SFfoos

Question : I Need Help Decorating Mt Room! Teen Boy Ideas?
Alrite well just to kinda brief you guys first. My name is Jake I'm 15 years old and obviously I need some ideas for my room. Just about 2 years ago I finally convinced my parents that I should get my own room. I was sharing a room with my younger brother in the attic. We split the room in half now. And ever since then I have been looking for ideas. I have asked for help with my room on here before and received lots of help. But that was basically just to re arrange the room. Now I wanna decorate. Before I didn't ask for help decorating cuz I didn't know what theme or style I should pick now I have made up my mind. Well just to let you know un case you have a better idea my hobbies are baseball, soccer, basketball, guitar, and video games. I put that all together and came up with the idea that I should base the room with a gaming style. Its hard 2 find tips online about this because if you look for this google will just give you like family game room ideas you know like pool and foosball darts and stuff like that. I wanna make this room pretty much just traditional themed but I wanna include things that will let people know what I like to do. Basically what I meant was I wanna have like a gamer style room but I don't wanna be in the situation if I bring a friend into the room they go wow your a nerd. Most of my friends game but no one goes outta their way to show it off. Its just kinda like a I'm bored I have nothing to do kind of thing. But at the same time I do wanna have some things that could be cool. I know I really probably confused the insides outta you up to here. But I'm turning it over to you guys now. What should I do with my room?FYI My room is pretty small. Important Furniture Items Chair and a Half Bed Dresser Tall Dresser Small Desk Guitar PlayStation3Ok thanks in advance hopefully you guys feel this as a challenge cuz I do. Well thanks again. Jake

Question : Need fun group games?
I'm home schooled, and we have a co-op every other week. Our class is middle school and high school, and we finally got a gym class this semester. It sounded great, but the gym is already taken, so we get this little room thing that's about the size of a quarter of a gym with one side filled with a lot of Foosball and air hockey games sort of things. We really don't get instruction, we get to choose what we play, which is great, but we're pretty much out of ideas. We need to play something gym-ish, here's what we've played so far:.Spider dodgeball.Link tag.Freeze tag.Ultimate tag.Capture the flag.Dodgeball.Buddy ball That sort of thing. Any ideas for what to play?

Answer:
Bench ball - if you dont know what it is then.... you split into two teams and each stand at opposite sides of the gym. Each side will have a bench, a person from each team will stand on the bench opposite there team. The members of the team have to throw the ball to the player on the bench, if they catch it you join them and help to get the rest of your team on the bench. The team who gets all there players on the bench first wins. If you step of the bench at anytime, you have to get of a rejoin your team and try and get back on the bench.
