I don't know about the price of all that. Because it varies from location, country, store. But you could put all that in there and maybe some computers, a DVD, Television, some posters and things like that.

Question : Garage Game Room Ideas?
My parents are letting me make one side of our two car garage into a room where I can hang out with friends. I want to make it a game room, I already have a 2 player basketball game, air hockey, and fuzz ball table, and a wii. I'm thinking about painting it hot pink and lime green. Does anyone have ideas for things i can add or things i can do to make it better?

you could also add a pool table/ping pong table. Or a pinball machine. Have a table that sits at least four and include popular board games. You may also want to add something for music, even an old jukebox would be neat.good luck

Question : Building a new house and turning the garage into a game room ...need help?
The garage will be 20x20. The question is I want to have a standard size pool table, air hockey table and a shuffleboard and a small table in corner for table games ....Flat screen will hang on wall. Oh and dart board on one wall ...Can I fit all this comfortably in this room? I also have the dining room which we will not be using and it's 11x12 that we can open and connect If nessecary. But if I can avoid doing that I would like to. Sounds like a fun room with alot of stuff in it. I don't know the sizes of the furniture, but if you do, get some graph paper(you know, the paper with small squares in a grid). Use 1/2" equals 1 foot. Draw the outline of your room on it, include where the garage door, any windows, and door into the house. Next measure the furniture, using 1/2 inch equals 1 foot again, and draw on another piece of graph paper. Cut out those pieces and arrange on your garage/game room pattern. It's a good way to figure out what will fit and what won't and for furniture placement also. I did this when we built our last house so I could figure out ceiling light fixture placements. Remember to leave plenty of empty space around the big items for body/people movement.As for your dining room, will it be on the same level as the garage, or down a step or two. Maybe you could have a large sliding glass door in that wall that you could open up when needed to add space to the game room. I assume the garage/game room will be finished off like any other room in your new house so it doesn't look like a garage.DH and I have built(had them built) 2 homes and it was fun planning and finishing, and everybody should have the experience at least once.

Board games are great choice. Some of them are pure fun for all family and from others you can 'squeeze' some educational facts like geography or American history in a fun way. For his age, dominoes are good too. You can start with animals and switch to dots later. Some building sets can bring a lot of joy. I mean magnetic building sets, marble runs or some erector types clickable pieces which can be assembled in a different structure each and every time: rocket in one day, car or cat in another. Do not buy a TV set for this particular room :- )

I have 5 roommates, we're going to have ping pong and darts. Any other suggestions for entertaining games/sports to put in our house. No pool or air hockey (not enough room). Front yard is fairly big too.

Tons and tons of leisure sports, also a beer pong table. Big list of games on this website where you can download a pdf that has tons of games perfect for a college house. Bocce, horseshoes, cornhole, ladder toss, beersbee.... all great games to hang around outside while enjoying a beer. http://www.thedayofgames.comA small little bumper pool table is also good. Beer pong tables can fold up and beer pong balls are small. Cornhole boards and cornhole bags are a personal favorite.

Depending on the size of your room, you could get a pool table/ping pong table combo. I love the idea of having a slot machine too. Also a poker table table would be fun and also a bar. A cool basement like that should have a bar, even if you don't drink! Get a little mini fridge for beer/soda/bottles of water. You could buy a pre-made bar or if you are handy you could make your own out of scrap wood and paint/stain it.Since you already have a TV, do you have comfy seating (couch/chairs)?
