Questions & Answers
Question : I have a six year old boy. I'm planning to buy some good games to put in the game room. Any suggestions?
I'm thinking about buying a pool table + air hockey, so both adults and kid can use it. Any other suggestions. I'm not looking to spend too much money. Goal" To have games which the whole family / friends will enjoy.

Answer:
Board games are great choice. Some of them are pure fun for all family and from others you can 'squeeze' some educational facts like geography or American history in a fun way. For his age, dominoes are good too. You can start with animals and switch to dots later. Some building sets can bring a lot of joy. I mean magnetic building sets, marble runs or some erector types clickable pieces which can be assembled in a different structure each and every time: rocket in one day, car or cat in another. Do not buy a TV set for this particular room :- )

Question : How do you win the bells in the escape the pear room game of addicting games?
HELP ME!!! i need to get the sounds in order but i cant :O wats the order someone pleasehelp me??!??

Answer:
umm well heres de full walkthrough 1. Take the letter on top of the fireplace, and read it for background. Apparently your goal is going to be to piss off Jim, Jen, Tori, and Abby. Let’s get started. Since you can only hold a limited inventory, hang the letter up underneath the deer head on the wall.2. Go to the puzzle room and get the scissors out of the top drawer. Move the lamp, click repeatedly on the pillow, blanket, and both mattresses, then get the antique axe from underneath. If you collect any of the puzzle tiles, put them in the puzzle.3. Go to the Christmas tree room, and cut the garbage bag open with the scissors. Take the ten blue ornaments off the tree and put them in the bag.4. Take the star off the top of the tree and put it on the reindeer’s head over the fireplace.5. Go to the front door, click the four corners of the rug to fold them, and then click on the rug to raise it. Take the lighter underneath. Take each of the seven pink candles off the Christmas tree and burn them with the lighter. Put the lighter back under the rug.6. Use the antique axe to cut away the five green layers of the tree, revealing 20 branches. Click each branch once to cut them in half. Click each branch again to cut them in half again. Click each branch once more to remove them all. This will be 65 clicks total, 5 on the greenery and 60 on the branches.7. Use the scissors to cut open the bag behind the Christmas tree.8. Use the hatchet in the fireplace room to cut open the cristmassy cake and the left chair.9. Go back to the puzzle room and pick up the seven presents. Use the scissors on each one, get the puzzle tiles, and put them in the puzzle. Put the presents back on the floor in order from bottom to top: green, purple, red, light blue, gray, black, orange.10. Return the scissors to the top drawer and put the axe back underneath the mattress.11. With an empty inventory, pick up the tree trunk and throw it at the front door.12. Collect all the puzzle tiles in the fireplace room. There is one in the slash mark in the left chair. Pick up the green bottle and click on it to get a piece. Pick up the cut cake and take the piece out. Pick up the tablecloth and take the piece. Open the right windowshade and take the piece. Click on the red stocking and then itside the cat’s mouth (right click and zoom in to make this easier). Take the one behind the reindeer’s starry head. Use the fireplace poker on the fireplace to get a piece. Put these pieces in the puzzle.13. Collect all the puzzle tiles in the christmas tree room. There is one on the left side of the lampshade when you turn the lamp on. There is one in the coocoo clock if you set the time to 12:00, pull the ropes three times, and click on the door (right click and zoom in twice on the upper-left side of the screen to make this easier). There is one behind the rocking chair. There is one underneath the tree. There is one on top of the tree trunk. There is one in the bag behind the tree underneath the santa clothes. Put these pieces in the puzzle.14. Collect all the puzzle tiles in the puzzle room. There are two in the picture. There is one behind the pillow. There is one underneath the mattress. There is one behind the back leg if you lift the blanket. There is one in the top drawer. There is one in the bottom drawer. There is one inside the hat inside the bottom drawer if you click on the hat a couple of times. There is one underneath the seven boxes. (There were seven in the boxes, but you should have gotten those by now.) Put these pieces in the puzzle.15. Go to the fireplace room and take all three tools from the rack. Get all the puzzle tiles from the front door room. There is one underneath the bucket. There is one on the top tip of the right ski. There is one inside the boot of the left ski. There are two under the corners of the rug. There is one outside the door if you sweep the snow pile away with the broom and get the tile with the shovel. Put these pieces in the puzzle.16. Use the poker to take the beard from outside. It is lying in the snow next to the fence. Put the poker, shovel, and broom back in the rack.17. Solve the puzzle. You should have all 70 pieces by now. Start with the four corner pieces, and then put together the edges. Look at the shapes of the tabs to figure out which pieces go where. If you don’t have all 70 pieces, check the item guide for another list of locations.18. Remove all of the boxes next to the table and press the red button. Put all of the boxes back.19. Go to the front door and click on the bells above the door and listen to the different sounds they make. Right click and zoom in if you want a better view. Click on the bow in the middle and one of the bells will ring. Click that bell. You will then hear two bells ringing. Click the two bells in the same sequence. Repeat this until you click six bells in a row correctly, and a key will drop. Use the key

Question : Error 999 keeps popping up when trying to get into a game room but not all the yahoo games?
I can get into my mail, messenger, and myyahoo but I can not get into "Hold em Poker" or spades, pool, black jack or any game room that actually plays with other people....and please don't tell me to delete a file and update ... because I can't get into them but my husband can log into and actually get into the game rooms that I can't...it's the same computer with the same IP address...with 2 different users, so tell me why only my username is blocked and not his? I have never been rude, used bad language or been disrespectful to anyone online, I have never abused my yahoo priviledges in anyway! So why am I blocked?

Answer:
Not sure anyone has the answer really. I have researched heavily over the weekend. It is not a new problem. Does seem very much like a block. I have had it for four days, though each day i can get in at least once. I am still trying to find out why. It seems if i back off trying to get in for awhile, then i can get in when i do try. But it should follow then that i could get in first thing in the day whenever i try the first time. But i can't.Many solutions have been offered, and tried, but none of them have had any consistent or consecutive success. If only Yahoo would open up their communication and let us know what is going on, but they are very closed and unopen in that way.It has been suggested that they are having server problems and depending what server you are on will dictate if you are the one with the problems.Very interesting that you and your husband have the same ip address. That would seem to eliminate the blocked ip theory, the one that the spammers have hijacked ip numbers so the hijacked person gets banned rather than them.I just got into games a few hours ago for today. Took all day to do it though.

Question : how do I get yahoo games to load the game room for canasta? I have downloaded the java applet?
I am positive that java works because I played a game on pogo.com and it requires java. When i click a room to join all it does is load the main game page in the pop up window where the lobby is supposed to be. Help. I followed everything in the help section and it's still not working.

Answer:
Try shutting off any popup blocker you have running and/or the new version of java.http://www.java.comIf those do not help email pogo help.

Question : Why has Yahoo Games banned me from entering a game room?
I click on a Yahoo Spades game room and get a message that I have been banned from entering this game room until Sunday the 24th!

Answer:
ever since they have started supplying ads they have been having a lot of problems.i really think that with the amount of people saying they have been banned, that it can't just be a "reporting" problem. it's a "yahoo's changing things around & messing things up right now" thing. hopefully, really soon, it will get better...

Question : Problem with web page opening in yahoo games I attempt to log in to the game room and my web page close?
I click on yahoo games in my broswer and page comes up. after I press what game I want to play and load the 4 charaters my web page closes out.

Answer:
Yahoo updated the games section. You now need a new updated game demo. Go to Tools,Internet Options,Browser history ,settings button,View objects. Right click and remove all yahoo games listed. When you go to play next time a new demo will pop up to download. OR if you don't use IE7 remove them by going to Start,My PC, C drive,Windows folder, Downloaded games folder. delete games there. The new IE8 will not work with yahoo games! so revert back to 7 if you updated to it. Yahoo says this! Please be aware that our games are not currently optimized for use with Internet Explorer 8. For the best experience playing our parlor games, we suggest not upgrading to the latest version of Internet Explorer for the time being

Question : Each time I go to Yahoo Games I canNOT go from 1 game room to the next without freezing?
Several times a day ( & prior to going into the games) I empty my Temp files, cookies, cache & have updated my Active X & Java. Nothing helps. I have more than adequate memory so isnt that. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thank you.not a thing is helping even yahoo.help pleaseeeeeeeeee ty

Answer:
yahoo now uses popups to enter games..you need to click on the popup blocker, where it says always allow popups from...add yahoo.com also go to filehippo.com and download the (ccleaner) it will get rid of alot of excess junk on your pc. its free!also close all running programs/sites mail, messenger ect your not using while playing. when you go into game room lounge be sure to click options then check small rooms.once in room you can expland it to see chat area.this cuts cards in half but you can still play.gets rid of flashing ads at top also.
