Question : How much money can I get for a ps2 and ds at game stop with games and accessories?
I have a PS2 slim with a wired controller and 2 wireless controlers but one doesnt work very well. I also have 2 memoery cards with it one 8 mb and another 32mb. Also i have about 30 games with it. I forgot I have all the cables with it. Now the DS I have comes with its case and a game. The Ds is the first that came out. Can someone help me please as soon as possible!!! :]

Well, it really depends on what you were saving for. If you were trading in your PS2 for a PS3, you'd receive $100 for your PS2 alone because of GameStop's "PS2 to PS3 Upgrade Offer" they have going on right now. Plus, if you really do have 30 games with your PS2, GameStop is also having its 'Tiered Trade' offer right now, so if you trade in 5 or more games, and get 30% extra trade-in credit. Plus, if you're an EDGE Card member you get another 10% added to that. Totaling to 40% extra per game.If I had to estimate on how much you'd make, I'd have to say you're gonna get no less than $100 no doubt. (If you get at least $5 for each game, you'll get $195 in games alone because of the "Tiered Trade".) I'm guessing you'll probably get somewhere between $280-$300. Be sure to mention the special offers though, maybe print the page, in the link I've provided below me from your computer, because they certainly won't tell you about it.Hope I've helped out. -KA

The game has this one dude trying to make it through different levels, he can use fire boots to walk through fire, or skates where there's ice, and I think he can swim in water as well. After every level, you will be given a password that unlocks the next level. The layout of the game is like a maze of blocks that he has to get through, kinda like lode runner or bomber, but way more fun. Please help as I am going out of my mind trying to figure out the name of this game. It came out together during the wordzap era, I think.

I do. I mean, just simply amazing games will come out one after another.. the industry see, every game.. 60$, gah, I hate how it works.. and not to mention consoles, and accessories, as soon as one thing comes out, and you get it, something better and more improved has just released. Don't you think maybe if they slowed it down a bit, lowered prices A BIT, or BOTH, even profits could increase?

I find that simply amazing games don't come out one after another. I can't think of 10 games last year that were worth their launch price and/or weren't tired rehashings of old concepts. Part of the problem is blind consumerism where everyone has to have latest brand name whatever with no attention paid to whether or not its good. This leads into the next part of the problem are the big game companies, they have people to answer to and if they are making X million dollars a year, people start yelling. These leads companies in to milking the same formula over and over again. They know that people will scoop anything if its has the right name. The same thing is happening in the movie industry. If when the 360 came out and had its games come out at 60 dollars, people said no, they would not stay their. So if you want to help do not go out and pick the latest "brand-name" game just because its using the name of something you once loved. You wouldn't marry a girl/guy just because her/his name was the same as your high school sweetheart.
