Questions & Answers
Question : What systems does the circulatory system work with and how?
I'm doing a report on on the heart for health class and one of the required pieces of information are: How does your organ work with other body systems to keep the body healthy? I need to know what other body systems it works with and how?
Answer:
all cells need oxygen to survivethe circulatory system supplies that oxygen and carries the waste products awayif you lined up all the arteries, veins, arterioles, venules, and capillaries of your body end to end they would wrap around the world two and a half times capillaries is one of the places where gas exchange occurs (dropping off the oxygen and picking up the carbon dioxide) for cellular metabolism to continue look up homeostasis in wikipedia and then go to utube and watch their videos on itthe circulatory system works with all other systemslymphaticintegumentaryskeletal muscularendocrinenervousrenaldigestive reproductiveand the respiratory system is the other place where gas exchange occurs (in the lungs)this is where we exhale the carbon dioxide from the deoxygenated blood and when we breath in the blood is being re-oxygenated so that it can carry the oxygen to all the cells and we can maintain homeostasisit's very complex and i'll probably be studying it for the rest of my lifebut knowledge is power and i love the challengebest of luck to ya

Question : How do the cardiovascular and respiratory systems work together?
I have to describe the structure and functions of the the cardiovascular system and the respiratory system. I can manage that but I now need to link the two systems, ie how they work together. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My brain has gone numb, and I just cannot get my head around it. Sooo fuzzy with revision and course work. Thank you. Also, any ideas where I can find good diagrams of both these systems. Thanks again.
Answer:
Your cardiovascular system carries blood out of your heart and through your lungs to be reoxygenated, and then dispenses it throughout your body though different vessels. It then returns to be oxygenated again.

Question : What systems in the body besides the urinary system works with the reproductive system or testis?
I have a project over "The Human Body Corporation" we are supposed to say why we shouldn't be fired and tell what systems in the body work with our organ. I got the testis and therefore have to find things that relate with the reproductive system.
Answer:
Why you shouldn't be fired? Whaaa? Well, the urinary system doesn't "work with" the reproductive system or testis. They interact, but don't work together per se. It is even less true in the female body. In the male body, you have the epididymis that produces the sperm, the prostate provides the seminal fluid which mixes with the sperm, and then exits through the urethra, which is also where the urine from your kidney exits. If anything I would say your circulatory system works with the testis. Blood flow is very important in reproduction. It engorges the penis for one. And the circulatory system provides blood flow, feeding the cells nutrients in the testicles. Definitely the endocrine system: communication within the body using hormones made by endocrine glands such as the hypothalamus, pituitary or pituitary gland, pineal body or pineal gland, thyroid, parathyroids and adrenals, i.e., adrenal glands. Gets the heart pumping and hormones flowing, affecting, or initiating the orgasm. And in general I guess the nervous system: collecting, transferring and processing information with brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves and nerves. I guess to process what is going on, getting turned on, having intercourse, and the movements, etc, that will affect the testis indirectly. I guess even the respiratory system interacts with the testis indirectly, if you say that the lungs provide oxygen to the blood, which flows via the circulatory system to provide nutrients to the testis. It's a pretty broad question.

Question : How does the circulatory system work with at least one other systems to insure homeostasis within the body?
How does the circulatory system work with at least one other systems to insure homeostasis within the body? For example, how does the circulatory system work with the muscular system to insure homeostasis. Please help, I'm not that good in science. Thanks :)
Answer:
Circulatory system works with excretory system to maintain homeostasis of the body. Whatever excess water, salts, mineral ions, metabolic wastes present in our blood will be removed from our blood with the help of kidneys. This enables our body fluids to maintain steady concentration without disturbing our homeostatic condition of the body. Kidneys are osmoregulatory organs of our body. The filtering units nephrons present in them separate whatever materials are present excess in our blood and eliminates, the remaining it retains for the body.please visit:http://www.indiastudychannel.com/search/index.aspx?search=homeostasishttp://www.lionden.com/ho meostasis.htm

Question : What 3 body systems work together to maintain homeostasis?
I need to create a book "Body systems for dummies", in which i have to select 3 body systems circulatory system, respiratory system, endocrine system, nervous system, immune system, digestive system and the excretory system. Any good information ? I need more than a paragraph.
Answer:
I think that it's just the brain, kidneys and lungs. The brain senses a change in our internal environment, quickly determines what's wrong, and sends signals to control whatever part of that us is the imbalance. Can't remember what anything else does though, it's been about 2 years since I did any formal Biology training.

Question : What is the difference between common law systems and civil law systems?
The difference between common law systems and civil law systems seems a little fuzzy to me. The United States is considered to be purely a common law system, but aren't our codified Constitution and the United States Code, in addition to binding judicial precedent, more indicative of a combined common/civil law system? If not, then what exactly sets civil law systems (as in Europe) or combined common/civil systems (as in Louisiana, Quebec, and Scotland) apart from common law systems?
Answer:
The term common law is ambiguous. It can be used to describe the entire system or it can be used to refer to the case law within a common law system, to refer to the system as a whole a better term might be the 'adversarial system'. This is what we have in England, the United States, Australia, Hong Kong and South Africa amongst others. The main feature of this system is that there are TWO types of law which are binding (case law and legislation) whereas in the civil system, past cases can be taken into account but they are not binding. Another significant difference is that in civil law countries the judge plays a much more important role in determining proceedings, they form part of the case. The Adversarial system emphasizes the debate between the two parties and the judge merely directs the jury and ensures that etiquette is followed. Also, in a civil system academic articles can be considered whereas in our adversarial system an academic article is essentially useless until it is included in legislation. These are the most significant differences.

Question : How does the respiratory system connect to other bodily systems?
I'm doing a science project, and talking about how Pulmonologoy and the respiratory system relates to other bodily system. I've already found info on the Digestive and and Cardiology system, but I'm at a loss for how it relates to the Endocrine, Excretory and Nervous systems. If you know any or all, please answer! Thanks so much!
Answer:
nervous system: there are nerves that enervate the diaphragm (and thoracic muscles), which are critical to muscular manipulation of the lung volume. Endocrine: see renin-angiotensin system.Excretory: perhaps the surfactant excretions that decrease surface energies, so that the lung doesn't collapse onto itself.

Question : What organ systems work with the integumentary system and how?
Basically, I need to know what organ systems work WITH the skin and HOW.
Answer:
the circulatory system feeds it oxygen and nutrients to keep it aliveand the endocrine system gets involved with both of those to help with thermoregulationand overall homeostasisthe lymphatic system keeps it from getting infectedthe endocrine is involved with this as wellutube will have videos on all of those systemsvery helpful

Question : What is the line between social systems and political systems?
This question came to mind while reading this statement in another Q&A:"Socialism is an economic system. Liberty has to do with the system of government, the political system, not the economic system."How do political and economic systems interact? Can you really separate them?
Answer:
In my opinion, they are one in the same.Claiming that liberty only applies to political systems seems to be an intellectually lazy attempt to support "liberty" when it applies to lifestyle choices (gay marriage, abortion) and privacy (anti-Patriot Act etc), yet deny liberty when it applies to taxation, trade, business regulation, etc.By attempting to separate the two, populists can restrict our basic freedom of protection of private property while still claiming to believe in and support liberty.Milton Friedman addressed this topic in 'Capitalism and Freedom', and F.A. Hayek had interesting comments relevant to this topic in 'The Road to Serfdom' - both are must reads.
