Editorial Review :
The North American Bear staff is a small, but wonderfully diverse group of people who know and care about the products and make sure everything is "just right" before anything ships out the door. Ten different languages are spoken at North American Bear and like the customers who ultimately purchase these products, The North American Bear staff is predominately women (the majority of whom are moms) with a delightful sprinkling of dads. There are 43 children total amongst the company and every one of these kids is as much a part of the North American Bear family as their parents.

My girls have lost the baby girl somewhere. Ebay has some, but I'm just wondering if I can get her somewhere else. Also, I think it'd be fun to get them some of the rooms that we don't have, but they don't sell them (apparently) anymore. Do they come out with new stuff every few years?

Question : Do you know which book about living dolls this is?
This book i remember fondly but vaguely. I believe this all happened in it. There is a dollhouse where multiple dolls live... the dolls are, as stated, alive and one tries to go to the attic... the other dolls try to persuade the doll to stay but the doll does not listen. I seem to remember that if their seen moving something happens to where they're no longer living... i believe it was a dark tale, and i don't remember anything about how long it was. any help is helpful! :)
Answer:
Behind the Attic Wall by Sylvia Cassedy?

Question : Are all the employees of Dollhouse, in fact, dolls?
When they were questioning Dominic in the last episode, he looked at the doctor and called her "Whiskey". I've been thinking lately that she might be a doll, because of Alpha's attack on her, and her never leaving the Dollhouse. And this has me wondering; what if they're all dolls? I mean, considering how much money and time it would take to keep all those employees quiet about the Dollhouse, it would probably make more sense just to make them all dolls right?
Answer:
If you have seen the season finale of the show "Omega", it is revealed that Dr Saunders is in fact a doll, formerly known as Whiskey. Apart from her, none of the other employees are dolls. At least, none that have been revealed yet. The handlers are definitely not dolls, because they need to have certain backgrounds and I'm pretty sure if you are a doll you can't be expected to be another doll's handler, that would just be too complicated. Topher definitely isn't a doll, because we know his background already, and DeWitt isn't either.

Question : What was this tv show or movie about a family that turned out to be dolls in a dollhouse?
I know I watched it when I was a kid. The details are hazy but I remember that there was a family and it was strange but all their things had the same brand (I'm not sure but I keep remembering a blue target sign and a lightning bolt). Their house kept flooding but they didn't know why. In the end, it was revealed that they were dolls and they lived in a dollhouse. Please help me remember.
Answer:
Hammer House of Mystery & Suspense (TV series)"Child's Play"TV.com synopsis:First aired: 5/2/1986 A family wakes up one morning and discovers that they are trapped in their home by a mysterious and unbreakable brick wall, and their water and telephone have been cut off. An intense heat comes over the house as well. The TV reception has been replaced by some sort of emergency signal for which the symbol is a lightning bolt (which is also the symbol on all their clothes and food products as well as their car). They begin losing feeling in their bodies and losing their memories as well. Soon enough, they cannot remember any life at all outside the house. All this time, a green blob has been forming in another room, slowly stalking the family.Writer: Graham Wassell Director: Val Guest Guest star: Mary Crosby (Ann Preston), Nicholas Clay (Mike Preston), Debbie Chasan (Sarah Preston), Suzanne Church (Mother), Joanna Joseph (Daughter)From IMDB review:***SPOILERS*** A family awakens to find themselves trapped in their own home, all windows and doors sealed by impenetrable walls. Now they are faced with a bitter sequence of paranormal events forces that have taken over their lives. A once peaceful family has become mere toy puppets for a race of alien children and victims of a twisted "child's play". ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I actually saw this episode, but I don't recall what it was on. At IMDB's forum, someone said that it ran on the Fox Channel. I got in on it late and was fascinated by it! I also saw an episode very much like it on an anthology series but can't find the name of it. I just know it was a remake of the British one.

Question : Can you put Barbie dolls in the "Loving Family Grand Dollhouse"?
My 4yo daughter really wants the Grand dollhouse for Christmas, but is also into Barbies and doesn't have a dollhouse to use for her Barbies. She wants the Diamond Castle Barbie but I really don't like the "looks" of the castle that goes with these dolls. I was thinking about just getting her the Grand dollhouse and letting her use that to play with her Barbies, but I can't find any dimensions and am wondering if the Barbies would be too big to fit....probably.......but just hoping someone might be able to help. Any suggestions?
Answer:
no i think its too small.but thats a pretty cool dollhouse.;D

Question : Looking for the title of the book about a girl that is given a dollhouse and the dolls inside...?
...come to life and are evil.If I remember correctly, the girls parents buy her this dollhouse at a garage sale and she thinks that it and the dolls inside are old and creepy and doesn't want to play with them. The dolls are porcelin and are cracking and somehow they get offended that the girl won't play with them. I believe the dolls had the ability to come life and possibly turn the girl into a doll as well. I read this book in the mid-90's I'd say. I remember it having a couple pictures throughout of the dolls and the artwork was creepy, the dolls had very large eyes. I want to say it was a man that wrote the book, but I could be wrong. It sounds like I am making this up, but I assure you that I'm not.
Answer:
I know you’re not making this up! I think I’ve at least seen (if not read) this book, probably late ‘80s/early ‘90s, but can’t remember any more than you. In my searching, I came across at least four books with this plot-- the haunted dollhouse/creepy doll thing is popular in young adult lit.None of these struck me as right, but the most likely one seems to be Among the Dolls by William Sleator (click the title to see the original cover). It was originally published in 1975 and has been reprinted several times since then, most recently with by Scholastic/Starscape with new cover art. Here’s the description from the back of the book:"When her parents give her a gloomy old dollhouse for her birthday instead of the ten speed bike she’s expecting, Vicky is disappointed. But she soon becomes fascinated by the small shadowy world and its inhabitants. The hours she spends playing with the dolls is a good way to escape from her parents’ arguments. As Vicky’s life becomes more troubled, she starts to take out her frustration on the dolls, making their lives as unhappy as hers. Then one day, Vicky wakes up inside the dollhouse, trapped among the monsters she’s created. Bewildered, Vicky is sure she’s dreaming. Can she find her way out of this nightmare world?"Other possibilities (based on their plot and date of publication) include the following. I’ve mentioned whether they’ve been reprinted because sometimes an older book will be reprinted with new cover art and/or illustrations. Use the Amazon.com links below under "Recommendations" to see plot information.Rumer Godden. The Doll’s House. (1962; widely reprinted since then.)Betty Ren Wright. The Dollhouse Murders. (1983; reprinted since then.)Reby Edmond MacDonald. The Ghosts of Austwick Manor. (1983; reprinted in 1991.)Hope this helps!
