Yes it is normal for a lady your age to become attached when challenged with caring for a child even a fake one (after all was it not the point to see if you can handle the responsibility) I personally feel that this is a good thing.Now the question is what to do. First talk to your mother (or teacher) about the attachment and see if they feel it would be possible to buy the one you have grown attached to but bare in mind the answer will most likely be no and for good reason they are VERY expensive. You could then try to find another object or hobby to fall in love with such as something that requires the same amount of attention and care (a pet perhaps or volunteering, learning a new trade like photography)I hope you do find something and good luck

Do you remember these little plastic baby toys that ran on batteries and brought a small plastic bottle? Help?There were these little plastic babies that only had a diaper and were interactive. Question : What are some types or brands of interactive lifelike dolls?
I am looking for a doll that is very lifelike and interactive. Baby simulators are too expensive. I do want a doll that has to be fed and have its diaper changed. I want it to look very lifelike. I want it to either have open and closing eyes, or rocked to sleep. I would love it to be as interactive as possible so any suggestions work. I am 12, My mom is due to have a baby soon. My step dad (the father of the baby) is convinced that I can not help with the baby because I will drop it choke it ect.. (he is a little paranoid about things like that.) I have been babysitting for 2 years and I want to prove to him that I can be helpful and I wont drop or hurt the baby. Soooo to get top the point I want to buy those baby dolls that cry whine you have to change their diapers you have to soothe them to sleep and any noise will wake them up... I dont know unless ebay could help you. Just type in "baby think it over" on your search bar . That is the name of the doll. Maybe youll pull something up that way. Your stepdad should realize that hes not the only person who is wanting to love and cherish this baby. My daughter is 10 and she has been helping with her baby brother since he was born. He is 3 now. I think it has made her more responsible and also they have bonded better because shes like a second mom. Tell your stepdad to loosen up a little. Im sure you know how to help care for a newborn. i have i 3 yaer old and i got her a baby alive doll at toys r us and she love it. you can also get high chair and walker , pack n play, crib ect. it makes her feel like mommy too. she can do everything i can do. it also comes with food and kitchen wear. my daughter is going to be 4 in dec. and she still plays with it puts it to bed everynight feeds it every morning. at the same time i think that it is teaching her responsibility (cleaning up after her self too) which is a plus which i think you nices mom will like. hope this helps

The brand name baby dolls I know of are: Little Mommy, American Girl's Bitty Baby, Chou Chou, Baby Annabell, Baby Born, and Baby Alive. My little cousin owns a Little Mommy doll (one of the non-interactive versions) and an interactive Baby Alive "Learns How to Potty" doll. We exchanges gifts every year and she asked me if I could get her more doll clothes for her dolls for the holidays. I was looking online, there are a lot of really cute baby doll clothes from the makers of Little Mommy and Baby Alive but I also spotted some nice clothes made by the makers of the other above dolls that my cousin doesn't own. All the manufacturers only make the doll clothes intended for their dolls so I wasn't sure if I could buy outfits from other companies and still have them fit my cousin's dolls. Does anybody know of like a "guidebook" for doll clothes? Example: (not actually a factual example) Bitty Baby clothes fit Little Mommy and Chou Chou dolls. Chou Chou clothes fit Baby Alive and Bitty Baby dolls, etc, etc. It would kind of be like what Rock Band controllers work with the Guitar Hero and what Guitar Hero controllers work with Rock Band, for those looking to mix and and match games and controllers. If you get what I mean, it is basically the same thing.Any help would be much appreciated!!!Thanks!!!

Go to EBay, look at some of the handmade, new clothes. They have them for all sizes and dolls. Maybe you could also find a retired or collector's edition outfit.Your question was a little confusing so I hope I got it right!

yeah you will not find one for cheap, i had to carry one around for like 3 days in 8th grade and they told us we had to pay 600 if we broke it. so good luck finding a cheap one.and really you dont want it because it makes your life horrible so trust me you DO NOT WANT ONE
