Question : How can I turn my bedroom into a mini apartment?
Basically I don't like being around my parents so I want to minimize time spent in other areas of the house. My room is clean but very cluttered right now.Stuff in my room:- Double bed, desk, desk chair, mini dresser, slim but tall bookshelf, small night table, big stereo, piano, piano bench, electric guitar on a stand, amp, and acoustic guitar on a stand.I also have tons and tons of posters so it looks very cluttered. I also have a mini fridge I want to use also, because I'm going to be buying my own groceries.What are your suggestions?

Why dont you try mydeco.com for inspiration and try their 3D room planner tool that can help you to decide on what colours work well together and what colours would look good and also if you want to add any art to the walls and see what the room looks like from different angles. Question : Bedroom Decoration Help?
I'm a 15 year old guy and I want to re-do my bedroom. My idea was to have Van Halen Frankenstein wallpaper or paint and have posters of my favorite bands all over the walls and ceiling. Then I'd have a twin bed in the middle with Van Halen Frankenstein Bed sheets and comforter with black pillow cases (or maybe red), then at the foot of the bed have a black or red egg chair facing a small flat-screen HD TV with my Xbox hooked up to it. I want to put a black dresser to the side of my bed and a black bedside table right next to it. Then I would put my stereo on top of the dresser and on the other side of my bed I'd have an area with a guitar stool, amp, and my guitar all set up there and right next to that I'd have a black desk for school work with a comfortable black office chair. I'll obviously have some lamps and other junk in there but this is the main stuff that im focused on. I think i can easily get a black dresser, bedside table, desk, and office chair. The xbox setup is only if my parents can afford it because i can't. My main issue is that I can't find any Van Halen Frankenstein Bed sheets/comforter, or wallpaper/paint. Are there people that will come to your house, look at a design and paint it on your wall? Without you having to buy a wallpaper? I don't think I want to risk messing up my room by trying to paint the frankenstein design so surely there are people who could professionally do this for me right? Hi Chandler,Not sure if you have shared this decor theme with your parents yet, but lets say you did. Yes, there are freelance artists out there that I am sure would come to your home to paint your wall decor. However, this is not cheap at all, rather costly. Especially, if you are already wanting your parents to pay for your X-Box. You might want to re-think what really matters most in the room, prioritize your wish list. The art work can be as you suggest, done in posters on both walls and ceiling. Easy enough to change over time. Have not seen any comforters or sheets VH Frankenstein in the marketplace or on the internet. But, maybe you can use the Black, Red and White theme in your room. You need some white in the room to break up the heaviness of black and the red color.Design elements are worked in odd numbers of 3, 5 and so on. Those colors are easy enough to find out at the stores. Last thought on freelance artist, maybe check your local Art College? Good Luck, hope it turns out the way you want it too!

I remember seeing a huge photograph on my classes wall, and i cant remember what is titled.Its a picture of a man leaning down on an arm chair with his glasses on, and i think his feet are propped up agianst some coffee table i think. In front of him (or to the left of the photo) there is a stereo or amp. And his hair is windblown.Sorry for all the random detail but i really want to know who took this photograph.:)

It's the Maxell logo picture.In the 1980's, Maxell became an icon of pop culture when it generated advertisements for is audio cassettes, depicting a man in a chair with his hair and necktie being blown back by sound from a pair of speakers in front of him, supposedly due to the accuracy of Maxell audio cassette tape media. He is shown desperately clawing to the armrests on the chair but yet defiantly looking ahead at the source of the music through sunglasses. He is accepting of the high volume and it somehow brings him relaxation as his martiniis pushed off the end table. Television commercials of the time showed the man and his chair, as well as a drink and nearby lamp, moving backwards. The image became the de facto standard of those who believed their stereo equipment had sufficient power or accuracy to move the mind and the soul.

I am looking to buy a 1979 Bluebird flat nosed Bus Conversion. Let me give you some details about the bus, Ill copy and paste from the Gentleman's add....1979 Bluebird bus completely converted to nice motor home. 5 year old 427 Chevrolet gas engine (completely rebuilt) 4000 watt two year old gas generator, 2 year old easy hook up tow hitch, 30 or 50 amp. electric, two roof top air conditioners (one runs on 30 amp and both run on 50 amp.) The gentleman has lost a leg and is elderly I think is just looking to get rid of it and not really make anything on it...Is this a fair priced or am I out of whack?really im not sure if it has separate tanks for black and gray water but everything else seems to be done properly so im guessing yes, thats a question i need to ask. I cant imagine it would be all that much more to have an additional tank put in. All he showed me with the sewer was how it hooked upI just looked at a diagram on the plumbing. Only has one dump valve so definately no grey water tank. However there is no shower, so maybe the impact isnt all that great.

Doesn't sound too bad for $8,000. The 30 gallon fresh water tank won't take you far if you're dry camping somewhere though. It doesn't say if it has separate holding tanks for grey and black water. That would be a concern.
