Question : Are the accessories for Our Generation Dolls compatible...?
Are the accessories for the Our Generation Dolls compatible with the American Girl Dolls? My neice has an American Girl Doll...are the clothing and accessories such as chair, bed, horse and outfits compatible?
Answer:
Our Generation has furniture, horses, and fun accessories just as American Girl Dolls do, but they aren't as nice and authentic as the American Girl things are. In Target, I was looking at the Our Generation items and I found that the bed was made out of a plastic that wasn't as nice as American Girl Doll stuff. It wasn't cheap, just not as nice. The bedding looked very cool and was not cheap or ugly. the Our Generation things are cute with a girly touch and can be loved by any 18" doll. The horses work great for American Girl Dolls. My friends have some and they are very cool. The American Girl horses have a velvety cover to make them soft, and the Our Generations don't, but it isn't really a huge problem. The saddle has a nice grip to keep the dolls from sliding off the side and when the dolls hold the reins the dolls can sit up perfectly without you having to hold them. The horses have accessories and come in a cool box and are alot less expensive than the AG horses. I totally reccomend these horses.The Our Generation items work very, very well for AG dolls, and are alot less expensive. I would totally reccomend their things. Their items are cute and very inexpensive. As far as I know, all of their things work for AG dolls. The shoes might not, because doll feet are in many different sizes. I'm not sure of the size of Our Generation feet, but Springfeild doll feet are a bit longer than AG feet. Springfield sneakers and boots and things like that work for AG dolls, but my pair of Springfield sandals are much too big. I would reccomend buying Springfield shoes, but maybe stick with sneakers or something.:)

Question : Any ideas for storing and organizing tiny barbie doll accessories?
My daughter received her first barbie type dolls for Christmas as well as all the teeny-tiny accessories that they come with. Shoes, purses, crowns, sunglasses... Then there are the clothes. Does anyone have any great ideas for how to store these accessories?
Answer:
Yes try a craft store or a sewing store, I used to have one of those plastic boxes with the little dividers that I used to organize little skeins of cross stitch floss, those compartments would be the perfect size for Barbie shoes and such. I remember also when i was little I actually had a little "closet" for Barbie clothes. I don't know if they still make such a thing, but it was pink of course, had a little latch on it, and when you stood it up long ways, it had a little bar and I had little plastic hangers for the clothes. Ever notice how much you use the word "little" when you are talking about Barbies? Another cute idea if you can find one that's not too pricey might be like a doll house dresser, then she can fold the clothes and put them away in there. Have fun!!

are you going to sell them all separately or together? well if your doing the dolls separately than each should be put up on a starting bid of 45$ it will eventually go u as people bid.for the clothes: i think you should sell a bunch of them together in a package and Label it as a lot pricing the items depend on how much clothes is in the package.the stage: i think it should go up for a starting bid of 40$if you are going to sell each outfit separately put up the starting bid of 10$ again it will go up. happy selling , i hope this helped :)

Question : Do you buy your daughter/son American Girl Dolls and Accessories?
I was looking through the AG catalog the other day at work and my coworker and her friend were giving me a hard time for buying my daughter an American Girl Doll. They were trying to tell me that they aren't any different then the dolls you buy at Walmart. I beg to differ with them. My daughter LOVES her Bitty Twins she has named Alah and Olive. I absolutely love their beautiful hair, eyes, and soft body. They are definitely made to last! My daughter has had hers for a year and they look brand new still.So my question is do you buy your child American Girl Dolls and Accessories? Why or Why not?Layla is getting Chrissa for her birthday this year! She wants a "big girl" doll now and fell in love with her in the catalog.My daughter went with her grandma and aunt (10 years old) to the AG Store in Chicago for her birthday last year and loved it.I don't mind paying the money for something my daughter really enjoys. I would rather spend 100 on a doll she adores for her birthday instead of spending 100 dollars on a few little things she could care less about. I think its just adorable when little girls play mommy :)Also, I love the positive messages each doll promotes. Seriously, how could you not like them?

I hope Emma loves AG dolls, because I sure do! lol. I don't have any, but we do get the magazine, and I love all of it. I want to get her the bitty doll for her birthday, and Kyle said she'd love them! We have a few dolls from Walmart, they don't last very long! The little girl I watch has the AG twins, and Emma LOVES to play with them. Those poor dolls have been through so much, and still look gorgeous. They look so real it's crazy. (Kyle told me he'd just get me one of those to tide me over until we can try getting pregnant again haha)

Question : Are She-Ra dolls and accessories of much value?
I have the She-Ra pink castle and it's missing some parts and wondering if I should just toss it out or if it's worth selling.
Answer:
There is a great market for She-Ra on Ebay. Although it may depend on which parts are missing, there definitely should be value left in what you have, especially if you have any dolls or other accessories to sell with it. The castle itself can sell for between $20-$60 and with other items (the horse, some dolls, etc...) included it can sell for well over $100. Check the completed auctions on Ebay (search under She-Ra castle) and compare what you have to the pictures and descriptions that have already been sold in the past week.

Answer:
The movie comes out in Dec, so merchandise will not be out until Nov at least. There are different merchandises on different sites to include Amazon, but it is not available yet. I have looked myself.
