Question : gave birth almost three months ago, and chance of pregnancy, HELP?
i gave birth to my daughter august 19. i have been breastfeeding the whole time, and me and my husband try to be as careful as possible. i had a normal period in september, but when i was supposed to start last month, on the 24th. it never came. the only possible symptoms im having are the fatigue, food aversion, cravings, and bloating. im really scared.. does anyone have any suggestions about what may be going on?we use condoms every time. we dont even "fool around" with out one.
Answer:
it can take your body a really long time to get back to having a reular period, just use condoms in the meantime. breastfeeding is not a form of contracetion

Question : I would like to go off of off my birth control Lo-Estrin 24 for a few months, but then start again.?
Hello, I have been on lo-estrin 24 fe for about four months. So far the side effects have not been so bad, just extremely emotional (but bearable) however NO sex drive. I am on birth control for my endometriosis, which it has been a life saver. I used to be in bed for 3 days a month in severe chronic pain, however now I just dont feel myself. Does any one know what would happen if I went off the pill for about a month or two, just to feel like myself again (and have sex!) if it will have bad effects on my body/cycle? Please help! thank you :)

Question : Vaginal birth after emergency csection... what do you think?
In july 2010 I had an emergency c-section at 24 weeks because of premature rupture of the membrane (first baby), and baby didn't make it. I am currently pregnant again 28 weeks and I am due nov 2011 (aprox. 1 year and 3 months after first c-section). Since the beginning of the pregnancy my doctor and I been discussing only c-section as a possibility... I never thought of anything else until now that I was wondering, is repeated c-section completely necessary in this pregnancy? Could I try for a vaginal birth at this time? I am not sure if I wanted to but I was just wondering. I have heard that to have a VBAC you need to be 18-24months a part at least (it will only be 15 months apart). Important note: at the hospital right after the c-section the doctor explained to me that the incition in my uterus was done in a way that would permit me to have a vaginal birth if I had it 24 months a part from my c-section. Please I am very confused at this point, I would really like some personal experiences please, expert advise or at least any website that can give me some clear ideas.
Answer:
The rationale behind this time frame is that if the incision is not COMPLETELY healed (and there are many layers of tissue that have to mend), the extreme pressure of the contractions during a vaginal birth might tear your incision. You wouldn't want a complication like that during birthing.I assume you have faith in your ob-gyn so ask her/him if he/she would consider a vaginal deliver in your case. :)

Question : I'm taking Loestrin 24 for 10 months now and ever since I haven't had a regular period. Is this Normal?
I started taking Loestrin 24 about a month in half after I had my son. Ever since I gave birth I only had 4 periods. The last time I got my period was May 18, 2009. I had taken lots of urine pregnacy test and gone to the doctors but all tests are negavite. Is this Normal?
Answer:
After having a baby. Your body and mind is still in pregnancy mode. That is why some people have a hard time getting weight off. Sometimes it can take a year to feel like or get back to normal. Your body just went through something major. So your hormones have to slowly stabilize themselves.

Question : My friend is diabetics patient before marriage. After 24 months his wife is now pregnant.?
In this case the child is yet to born, will have same problame of suger right from birth or letter stage ?
Answer:
Most likely develope at a later stage. My family has a history of being diabetics, though I didn't get it my sister did and they found out she was diabetic when she was five. Just because a mother or father is diabetic doesnt mean that the child will get it. It just depends if it gets coded in the child genes. There is a higher chance but also a chance that the child wont become diabetic as well.

Question : Loestrin 24 Birth Control Question?
I switched from YASMIN BC To Loestrin 24 a month ago. I'm barely finishing my FIRST PACK...& I take my LAST reminder pill TODAY. There are 4 reminder pills & I have already tookin WED, THUR, FRI & take the last pill today. So the THING is...I haven't gotten my period yet. I'm spotting a TINY TINY bit. I have no idea why it hasn't came FULLY yet.Has this happend to anyone? Can someone help me out andtell me wat could be the reason.Thanx for the answer in advance
Answer:
Sounds like your body is just adjusting to the new hormone levels from your new pill, especially since this pill has a shorter placebo/reminder week. Just keep taking your pill as directed, whether you are bleeding or not, your cycles might be a little screwy for the next few months. If you are concerned at all about pregnancy, you take take a drugstore test just to put yourself at ease.

Question : Why not continue after birth after 9 months (ex. 9months and counting)?
Why is that when we are carried in the womb for 9 months that we don't continue after we are born and not start a month later at 10 months? We have to start over at 1 - 12 months again and after 24 months we start at 3 years old. If we, picked up from 9 months, then 10 months, 11 months etc, how old are we really?
Answer:
well that would make me 27 and 6 and a half monts on your theory of 9 months adition ad 27,7and half on 10 months but i was 6 weeks early so i would be 27 and 4 months!!!

Question : Do you think 23 or 24 years old is too young to be a first time mother?
My wife and I are trying to conceive our first baby. She is 23 and I am 25. If she got pregnant now she would give birth one month before her 24th birthday. If it takes us a few months to conceive then she will be have her 24th before the baby is born. Her mother thinks she should wait a few months and give birth when she is 24 instead of 23. She said 24 is a better age to be a mom. Oh yeah, her mom had her 1st kid at 19, so what the heck? What difference does it make? What do you think about this situation? Do you think having a baby right before your 24th birthday is too young? In case you wanted to know, we own a 3 bedroom house, we have college degrees, we have two new cars paid for, we have stable jobs and have an income of over $80,000 a year. And no one has given us a penny, so we are financially ready. We have been together for 5 years, married for 2, so we are happy and ready for a baby.
Answer:
ok.. first of all... just dont throw up what her mom did in the past... Anyways... 24 "sounds" better than 23... but really you just have to think.. are you financially stable? Have a good home to bring a newborn to? Are you both at a point in your life where you know you can take care of a child whether they are sick and you have to stay home, doctor visits, late night runs for things that the baby ran out of... etc..? These are the things you really need to be sure on before conceiving. No matter what age... some can be in their 30's and still not be able to say that they have all of the above. If you all are ready and have a stable and wonderful enviroment then I say 23 is fine. Just make sure both of you are ready

Question : Is Pembury Hospital in Tunbridge Wells a good hospital for giving birth at?
We are moving to Tunbridge Wells and my wife is 24 months pregnant. Pembury Hospital has had a lot of bad reviews, but a some good, saying its old, but the staff were friendly. Apparently its going to be replaced with a brand new Hospital this year. My wife doesn't want to give birth at a birthing unit place e.g (Crowborough), so is Pembury ok?
Answer:
Try the Tunbridge Wells zoo - your wife must be an elephant to be pregnant that long.

Question : Is it possible to ovulate within the first few months of birth control(loestrin 24 fe)?
Im on my third month of birth control and Saturday was my 14th day which would normally be when I ovulate. Answer:
