Question : How to make different iron ons?
I know about iron ons for t-shirts, but unless things have changed, those are stiff to the touch. I would like to maybe put some on pillows for guest room. Is there something special that can be done so you don't feel that stiffness? Like have it appear to be an actual part of the fabric?

Answer:
My iron ons aren't stiff. Maybe it's the tees more so than the iron on. I use Avery brand.

Question : How can I enable add-ons on Internet Explorer when it says they are already are enabled ?
There is a bar across the top of my screen that says Internet Explorer is currently running with add-ons disabled but when I go to enable them it says enabled as though they already are. What's up with this ? Does anyone have any idea what to do about this ? Thanks.

Answer:
Hey Sunshine,If all of your add-ons are enabled you might be seeing that message in error. This might be caused by a bad shortcut that you're opening Internet Explorer with. If this is the case, you should be able to fix the problem by right clicking on your Internet Explorer icon --> properties On the Shortcut tab where it says Target: make sure that "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" is entered.Click apply and then try opening Internet Explorer again from that icon.Hope this is fixes it for you,NateA member of the IE8 Outreach Team

Question : How do I enable add-ons in Internet Explorer 8?
Just a small question because I just upgraded to Internet Explorer 8 beta 2 and all my add-ons have been disabled. It comes up at the top "Internet Explorer is running with add-ons disabled. Click here to manage, disable or remove add-ons" I click and it comes up with a list of all my add-ons saying enable what do I do?

Answer:
When you select an add-on in the list, you should have a button appear below that list to "enable" or "disable" that item.

Question : How do I enable add ons in Internet Explorer?
I can't open any files in Internet Explorer and it says Add-ons are disabled. This includes Active X. Can you give me simple directions on how to enable add-ons- including Active X on to my computer?

Answer:
Usually in internet explorer, when a site is trying to use add-ons a little message will come up telling you what it is trying to use.You should then have the option to allow or deny the add-ons from running. If you still cant see this window, then look at the top of your browser for a thin yellowish bar that mentions active X or another add-on.Click this bar and tell it to allow add-ons for now.If all else fails then just go to tools-->internet options--> then find the tab where you can allow add-ons. (I don't recommend you do this though as some add-ons that automatically run can harm your computer if you happen to stumble across a bad site.)

Question : Is the Ibanez GRX20 good for hammer ons and pull offs?
I'm wondering because I have a Washburn WI-40 with moderately low action that I can't get to hammer on for anything. If there's any strings to try, I'll do that. But still, is the Ibanez good for hammer ons?Been playing guitar for 2 years and piano for 9. Drums for 9, too, but that's not important. Point is, my finger strength is fine.

Answer:
If you want efficiency and ease for hammer-ons, pull-offs etc... use .009 extra-light gauge for a responsive attack. It doesn't matter the make of the guitar. It's the action and the strength of your LEFT hand that will work the most.I use DR's and Ernie Balls .009 and on my 62' Fender, Ernie Balls .008 and on my 69' GiBson Les Paul, DR's which respond the best and on my Charvel / Jackson, Ernie balls .009.If you have a good strong left hand, you should be able to pick one note and hammer/pull 4 consecutive notes or 8 without using the pick and giving the impression tht they are picked. That is what Paul Gilbert, Stevie Vai, Joe Satriani use a s a technique.>>> hammer-ons & pull-offs with the least amount of picking .What you need to do is lower the action at the maximum using .009. When it starts buzzing, raise it slightly, That is your lowest action you can get. Make sure the neck is straight with a slight dip of 1/16" maximum at the 7th fret. By that I mean to hold the 1rst and 15th fret on the 6th string and look at the 7th fret. Their should be a clearance of a sheet of paper or 1/16" MAX.If not, get it adjusted to obtain that clearance. That's it. Enjoy

Question : How can I disable specific Internet Explorer 6 add-ons and apply it to all users?
I need to disable specific internet explorer 6 add-ons because it is interfering with a web application that we have where we work. The issue I need to disable those specific add-ons and apply it to all users that log on to their workstation. I am trying to use Group Policy but what I have found in searching the internet is that I have to look for AppID and use it in the Group Policy. Is there another way around it? Thank you in Advance.

Answer:
Internet Explorer 6 is 10 years old, outdated, and extremely unsafe. No company in 2010 should still be using this crap. There is no answer for this. Move on to IE 8 or wait for 9 which will be even better. In the mean time, use Firefox or Google Chrome until you can upgrade. If your IT department refuses to do this, you need a new IT department.

Question : Is there any way to import add-ons and settings from a past installation of Firefox?
I just reinstalled Windows on my computer yesterday, after dumping all of the contents of my hard drive onto a backup drive. Now I am going back and reinstalling stuff, but I am curious if I can somehow import all the add-ons from my past firefox installation back into the new one somehow. I know how to import my bookmarks, but dunno about anything else besides that. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Answer:
You could try locating the add on files which will be located in program files/ mozillia firefox folder and copy them to the same location on your computer hard drive. But you will probably need to do it manually as the add ons must be installed. But still worth trying to find the files and copy them across.
