Question : Help with my aquarium plant please...?
So, about a month ago, I purchased a betta fish. I got a 3 gallon tank, some gravel, and a live plant. Recently, I've noticed the tips of the leaves are turning brown. :( I was wondering if the gravel I planted it in is too big - they are oval shaped pebbles, and vary in size from about the size of a pencil eraser to the size of the last segment of your pinkie. Is that too big? Also, the lighting fixture that came with the tank is a .18 amp, 120 VAC, 60 Hz. Does that provide enough lite for the plant? (I leave the light on about 14 hours a day) The betta fish still looks very heathy though, and the plant really isn't in horrible condition, but I just wanted to make sure there's nothing else I can do! Sorry this question's so long! Thanks for all your answers!

could be down to these 3 things,roots cant spread due to the gravel size ( although unlikely)Not getting sufficient amount of nutrients from the waterOr is lacking oxygenEither one , try and tweak it, and maybe add some aquarium plant growth under the gravel, by taking out the gravel, placing a 1 inch layer over the bottom,and then placing the gravel back on, and make sure the plant roots reach the soft plant growth,Hope it goes wellMike

I wrote some story.. I need grammer checking.. plz check.quality matters more than quantity.Science – 40 Math – 38 Social – 46 English – 41‘Why did I get a mark like this again?’ I thought. I went to my desk and sat on my chair. I saw stuff on the desk. There was a lot of stuff. A science text book, pair of scissors, glue, pencils and erasers. I looked around my room, it was messy… my guitar laid down on the amp… and my clothes are all over the place. I felt dumb. ‘What did I do for this term…?’My name is Michael, Michael Cordren. I was a really normal student… Not actually, I was a student who failed every term. Because of the assignments, I never did. You may think that I am busy. No, I am not. I am just a grade 9 student who likes play guitars more than any thing except eating… So when I go to school, every subject was very hard. And even catching up, I couldn’t imagine. But I tried to be a good student by some event.I had some group projects. I am not sure what subject it was, but I think it was science. I didn’t want to do, but in my group there was Julia! Who I like… she is very pretty and kind to other people even to me! So I liked that project, but two days later I didn’t like the project anymore. It happened in class. My group member was busy. Someone was gathering information, someone was gluing some pictures and someone was asking the teacher for help. But I was only interested in looking at Julia, she was helping David who was gluing pictures. Suddenly... he said “Hey, Michael! What are you doing now? Everybody is working, so you have to help us! Unless you would not help us, find an another group!” I was a little shocked, but after a few seconds I realized that it was a little thing compared with the things that happened after that. I just stared at him, also he stared at me, too. Julia didn’t know what to do. She tried to soothe his anger, but his anger didn’t calm down easily. So she started to whisper to him about me! My ears were good enough to hear that. “ David! You know that be failed every term. May be he wants to help us, but just he can’t. That is why he is just sitting and watching us. So calm down! First day I woke up, and ate breakfast on the first. After that I measured my height. It was 168cm. and I measured my evening height before I went to bed. It was 168cm, too.
