Questions & Answers
Question : How do you copy and paste using Google Chrome or can you?
I've tried going to the address bar, right clicking to highlight, but nothing happens. It doesn't give me the option to copy, in the drop down menu. All it gives me in the drop down menu is paste, paste and go, select all and edit search engines. Is it even possible to copy and paste on this browser and if it is possible to do that, can you please tell me how? Thanks!
Answer:
Yes you can copy and paste from google chrome. Open up google chrome , and what ever thing/item that you want to copy, You would Right-Click on what you want to copy and once you get where you want to paste it, (compose mail) once you get to your mail room click on "compose" after the email come up you would Right-Click once again only this time you would click "Paste" . Ok. You can not Left-click to highlight as it would not let you do that , but you can right-click to copy. Now give it a try. I just went to google chrome and I used creig-list as an example , I were able to right-click to copy and paste here in this area (I did delete it) . I hope that this information help out, if not send me a email and I will walk you through the steps again ok. Good Luck my friend.

Question : How do I make tomato paste from tomato sauce?
I am making sloppy joes and I realized I have a 6oz can of tomato sauce, not tomato paste. Can I make the sauce into tomato paste? If so, how?

Put it in a pan and on the lowest possible flame or heat setting, let it simmer uncovered until it's as thick as you want it to be. Freeze what you don't use right away.

Question : How to get gum paste decorations to stick on top of a fondant cake?
I am going to be making a cake in the near future, and wanted to make things out of gum paste, but never have done so.I have some sort of idea how to go about it, I have bought the mixes, and am planning it out....But say you make leaves, and you want to put it on the edge of a cake that is going to possibly ( I am going to try) have fondant on it, how do you get it to stick on top of the fondant? Is there some sort of sugary paste you can use? ThanksHmm. I've never used Royal Icing. I was going to ice the cake with buttercream icing.Gonna try to make a cake not with flowers, but with dinosaurs and volcano's. Was gonna try to add leaves and other stuff somehow. I just figured gum paste would be easier because I had read that it was kind of like a clay texture, and in school, I worked with a lot of clay(art school). I will look into the royal icing though. Just thought it may be easier seeing as how I already have the gum paste mixes. thanks :DOh. I also forgot to ask:I had seen in a video that buttercream icing was the easiest for the fondant recipe that I seen to stick too (some marshmallow recipe). Would royal icing be better, or are they both ok?
Answer:
Flowers and leaves are made with gum paste (typically) and are crafted on special floral wires that can be placed down in the cake. You can also use REAL flowers as long as the flowers are edible (Roses and Gerber Daisys are edible--believe it or not). Best of luck to you!EDIT: Sorry, didnt see the last part. If you just have the leaves, a little butter cream icing will work fine. You don't need royal icing.EDITOkay hon. You MIGHT be a little over your head here with this cake. Gumpaste is very similar to clay but a lot less forgiving. You have to work fast. When you see people make figures or large objects on TV what they are using is a blend of rice krispy treats and water with fondants covering it or they will use modeling chocolate. I dont know if you have ever used fondant before, but covering the kind of cake you want to do in fonrdant is going to be difficult for someone with little experience. Fondant is also airburshed with special edible paints because coloring fondant through WIlton Pastes can make the fondant lose it's flavor or texture (because you have to use so much paste to get the color to change.). Here is what I would suggest someone do if they are a beginner-somewhat skilled decorator. I would get a 1/2 sheet cake covered in green buttercream. If you want to save some time you can go to Sam's Club and ask for a 1/2 sheet cake, covered in green buttercream with nothing on it. :-) It'll probably be about $20 but its a GREAT time saver. I would get the Barbie dress cake pan and make the "dress" part of it but use it as a volcano. Id cover it in brown butter cream and add any lava effects I want. USually cake shops sell dino figurines to add to a cake, Id utilize those. Leaves or plants can be made with a frosting leaf tip. There are many kind of leaf tips. For a smaller leaf get a tip #68 or #70. For larger leaves use 112 or 336. You'll also have to get a coupler (which is dirt cheap. Under $1.) You can use a ziplock bag as a pastry bag too (so no need to go out and get special parchment triangles.)You have an ambitious project ahead of you and I hope everything goes well. :-) If you still plan to use fondant do not use royal icing. Here is a simple buttercream my bro and I use. We call it Traveler's Buttercream because it won't melt and it tastes pretty good.1 cup vegetable shortening 1 cup butter or margarine 2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 5-8 cups sifted confectioners' sugar (up to you. Depends on the sweetnes desires)4 tablespoons milk Combine shortning and butter till blended. Add extract. Slowly add all the confectioners. Slowly add the milk.

Question : How do Paste a logo with a transparent background into a PowerPoint slide on a Mac?
I have a logo in Adobe Illustrator, but I can't seem to paste it into a PowerPoint presentation without getting a white rectangle behind it. The background of the slide may either be a gradient or a very faded photo, so I can't have that white rectangle show up--I just want the logo itself. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks!
Answer:
Who knows what Adobe is putting on the clipboard? Save the picture and then use Format > Background in PowerPoint to choose the picture as a background.

Question : How to store multiple values for paste functionality in Windows?
I want to be able to paste into all Windows apps from multiple stored values. For example paste option one = multiline signature, paste option two = website address, paste option three = multiline description of service my company offers. I have seen this before, but if someone has a quick recommendation I'd appreciate not having to track it down right now.
Answer:
There is clipboard software out there that allows you to store multiple copy actions. You can then choose which one to paste. Some of them are even free!
