Question : pandora craft catalogue?
Hello about 3 years ago I used to order from a craft catalogue which I am sure was called pandora they sold everything you can think of for crafting from paper to candle making kits and homemade cosmetics.I think the company may have been Swedish based but I am not to sure of that, I have since lost or given away the old catalogue and I cannot find anything on the internet.Does anyone know if the company has closed down or maybe even changed its name at one time you could buy the catalogue in WH-Smiths in the craft section but I have not seen it in there for a long time. If you know there email address or homepage address could you please let me know what it is, Thanks in advance for any help.
Answer:
Hi I think the company your looking for is www.pandurohobby.co.uk.The catalogue is in WH smiths at the moment.Hope this helps. :)

Question : How to make a "suitcase/briefcase" out of paper for crafting project? Link inside for example...?
This one:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bS--RIM03I&feature=relatedShe said that she got it from a kit, but the kits are unavailable. My parents won't allow me to buy things online that I'll only be using once (It's for my project) So how can I make something like this? Types of paper? thanks
Answer:
It looks like she used designer/scrapbook paper. My idea would be to use either a box cut to size or use card board and construct the box portions. An old shipping box could work. Also wrapping paper or shelf liner would work great for the body of it and the interior. Shelf liner would hold up better and the sticky version would adhere to the box nicely. Also you could use sticky clear liner to cover the wrapping paper to make it more durable. You can use old belts for the hardware or even Duck/Duct tape for the bottom hinge area and then cover that with a plain or decorative paper or fabric. they also have colored duct/Duck tape or electrical tape you could use.Either glue, tape, Heavy duty stapler or even poke a hole (with a hole punch/awl or philips head screw driver) and put those brads that you use to hold papers together for some of the hardware. You could even use shoelaces, string or ribbon and thread through to help hold some stuff on. It just depends on how close you want to get to the video. You could even draw your own design if feeling very crafty.Thin cardboard mailing envelopes could work for the inside stuff. Just cover with decorative paper or plain paper and put your own design on it with Markers, Paint, colored pencils etc...Good Luck

Question : Where can I get vellum paper to make my own wedding invitations?
I have found wedding invitation kits, but I'd like to just by the paper and make them myself. I know where to get the cards that go in them, but I'd like to find some pretty translucent vellum to wrap the cards in, or cover them. Where can I find this? I've looked at all the craft stores.

Question : Know where to download free templates to make paper fans for a wedding?
A simple square-ish design that you would glue to small stick, and maybe print the wedding program on? If no website, maybe a craft store that carries a kit to do at home? Thanks!A simple design to print wedding program on, if not maybe where I can order custom printed fans?thanks
Answer:
I don't think you need a template....just sketch out the shape you want on cardboard to make a stencil. As a side note I would reccomend you go ahead and purchase some inexpensive fans from a company like Oriental Trading or have a print shop do them rather than try to make them yourself. In order to be effective they would need to be made out of heavyweight cardstock and more than just a popsicle stick as a handle. When you factor in the time and cost of materials it's really much more of a pain in the rear than it's worth.

Question : Does anyone know anything about a "Creative Craft" company which hire home based contractors to make beads?
Hi, I was wondering if anyone heard or had an experience with this company "Creative Craft". This is their web-site http://www.thecreativecraft.com/unitedstatesofamerica.html. They hire home based contractors to make beaded key chains and towel rings from home, you buy beads from them and make a product. Their main offices in UsaCREATIVE CRAFT #3514616 CORPORATE WAY, SUITE 2 VALLEY COTTAGE, NY 10989-2050And in Canada in OSHAWA, ONTARIO1288 RITSON RD. N SUITE 315L1G8B2.Unfortunately this was my big mistake and I got caught on this fraud!!! I am a home stay mom and I was searching in the Internet a job which will bring extra cash working from home (I was ready to do anything for extra cash even to put together newspapers and flayers). I found this company add on Facebook and I had big doubts trying to search a reviews and testimonials from other people. I was worried if it is a scam or no? Surprisingly I could not find not even one review about them, not in Canada not in USA, but I thought ok, maybe I should try, the company looks new and maybe it is true nobody wrote anything about them. I know there are legal businesses who hire home based contractors to do some work from home and I also know there is lots of spam. So to start working with them they ask you to order a starter kit which costed me over $60. I got this starter kit yesterday by mail; there were 2 small packages of beads (which I can get from Dollars store 2/$1 and one needle) for this I paid over $60. They say on the web-site that if you are producing enough product (making enough product from beads) you can make more then $700 a week. This is absolutely a LIE because first to ship one package of beads from Ontario to Alberta to me took them over 2 weeks!!!!! There is absolutely not enough time to do it. Second, the instructions they provided me with is some piece of printed paper with a hand written plan how to make towel rings from beads (absolutely unprofessional and not understandable). Plus there is no photo or picture of the final product what I am supposed to make. They do not post photos on the web-site what do they sell so I thought they would send me a picture in the instruction how this towel ring looks like. Obviously it must be such a huge commercial secret that they do not provide an employee with the picture and even after I tried to contact them with this question I still got no answer. They do not answer you in that contact information they provide on their web-site.! How am I supposed to make something if I do not even know what am I making???? How am I supposed to make this ring if I do not even know how this ring should look like? But they do point everywhere that they will return all the products which do not meet their expectations and what was made in a wrong way! Of course I am going to make something what would not meet all the expectations if I do not even see what I am making. So they did not really pay to much attention for this beads job process but they did pay attention in the letter about me making another payments and prices on all next kits. Plus I have found lots of new information which the Creative Craft web site does not show; that I have to pay a membership fee working for them it is $30 a year and some other interesting things considering payments which they do not tell about in their website. There are lots of details I can tell about that came to my mind after I realized this is an ABSOLUTE SCAM! But it would take too long to write about everything. They stole my money (well they did not steal, I paid to those scammers) but I got nothing in the final “ 2 beads and a needle for $60” and them probably laughing at me. As I said people can not find reviews about them , I am sure I am not the only one who signed up for them, please if anybody had the same experience before contact me, please share your experience if it was possible for you to return your money back? They are very smart, they did cover their ass very good making it look like they really sent a starter kit. I could complain if they would not send it but they did send: as I said 2 beads and 1 needle for over $60. Plus I have to ship it back on my own money.Well, I can not return my money back, this will be a lesson for me not sign up for any Internet job anymore. I was lucky that it was only $60, people loose thousands of $$$$ on such scam.I just want to warn you, guys, about this company and see if there is anyone had the same problem with them as I did.
Answer:
You first need to report this to the BBB and file a complaintIf you are in the US, the NY State Attorney General's office would handle consumer complaints about a business. I'm not sure what the equivalent is in Canada, but you also need to contact whichever government agency handles consumer protection

Question : I have a thing for hot air balloons and dirigibles, any ideas on how to make a mobile?
I really want to make a mobile of a hot air balloons and dirigibles but i can't think of how to go about it, I'm not too keen on paper craft like origami but I'll gladly use almost anything else. Also i dot not want to buy a kit, i could probably buy the contents of a kit seperately for less money at a craft store. So what'd think guys?
Answer:
How about using paper maché? Mix flour and water together (1 part flour, 2 parts water) or glue and water (1 part water, 2 parts glue). Blow up some balloons, then cover them with newspaper strips dipped into your paper maché mixture. Wait for the paper maché to dry, then pop the balloons. Attach some paper cups, etc. under them to look like baskets. Attach the balloons with fishing wire to an embroidery hoop.

Question : Can you please spare a craft?
I am really bored and need a craft.hosehold items(I also have a sewing kit, tape ,paper,et,.)
Answer:
What, you need more? The long list I supplied on the other question wasn't enough? Well, OK, here goes.Take a paper bag and tape hands and face to it, then cut out eyes for a mask.Cut grocery store bags into strips, by cutting around and around the bag, you need three bags cut into three very long strips. Now take a piece of cardboard and cut little slits all around the edges. Now wrap the plastic strips around the cardboard, slipping it into the slits as you go around. You have now made a placemat, or coaster, depending on the size.Take a long t-shirt and cut fringe all around the bottom, then tie tiny knots in each fringe to look like beads.Make beads. Find branches out in the yard, and cut them up into 1/2 inch slices. The poke a hole in the center. String them on the t-shirt fringe you made above.Or cut a fringe around the bottom of your jeans.Cut a colorful t-shirt into strips 5 inches wide. Then cut fringe along the strips 4 inches deep. Now sew the fringe on another t-shirt in a v shape around the neck.
