Question : How do you get permanent paint off of clothing?
So I was painting one day(paint by number kit), and then I got permanent paint on this cute American Eagle sweater :(! What should I do? It's already dried and it's been washed lots of times already! What should I do?!

if its oil paint youre done for. You can try 409 (*) but test it on a hidden spot to see if it damages the fabric or dies. But, almost anything that would dissolve the oil paint would damage the sweater. If its acrylic you can use white vinegar to soak the spot, *manipulate gently between the fingers and wash. The vinegar will dissolve the paint after a couple of applications.In the future for oil paint accidents - if you gently dab and rub some dish liquid into the paint while its still wet it will wash out later.

I'm guessing since it's paint by numbers, you can just replace whatever color they ask you to put on the skin color number with your chosen color. However, since it's a kit, you may have to buy the color you want to use separately since they prob only include the colors that they've assigned the numbers to. That or you could do a search online for maybe another kit that gives you the option of race for the angel.

Answer:
Any brand should be fine. Acrylics dry faster and you can clean up with soap and water. Oils dry slower and you have to use turpentine (or a substitute) to clean your brushes.Either will be fine. If you have trouble keeping your arm out of your work, go with the acrylics, since they dry quicker (usually 10 or 15 minutes, depending on how thick the paint is, and the humidity).The links below have kits for sale.
