Editorial Review :
Fill with candy, gum or small toys and test your skills at grabbing a prize using the three joy stick controls and dropping it down the chute before the music stops. It's so much fun! Once you start you just can't stop. The Claw! is a fully functional prize crane that provides hours of fun for people of all ages. The user friendly controls allow for a full range of motions left, right, back, forth up and down. Players enjoy giddy excitement as they command the crane and try to obtain. Just line the fairground, use the controls to move the claw...fill it with treats...and feel the frustration as you try to extract one from this irritatingly difficult machine...all before the music runs out!!

The Sweet Maching wins my son
This was on my son's top three wishes for Christmas. He loves it and we have had no problems.

What fun!
We had hours of fun Christmas morning with the machine. Just need to be careful of the size of the items so machine can grab. The kids really got good at it.

what a peice of junk!
It's not like I had high hopes for this thing. I didn't expect it to last forever, but I expected it to work the first time I tried it. But the mechanism that has the claw- it jammed going side to side the first time I tried the darned thing. Really disappointing too. I wanted to give this to a friend for christmas that loves claw machines- and she's amazingly good at them. I thought this would be a fun little gift for her. Well, I am returning it and I will try a different brand that I can buy in store. If that one doesn't work, it'll be easier to return and I can give her something else instead.

Horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This item was broken right out of the box. I had read a few other reviews saying the same thing and I should have listened. I had a very sad little boy on Christmas morning...

Makes a good paperweight
I bought this a couple of years ago to keep on my desk at school. I thought it would be a good reward for my students. However, we couldn't get it to pick up something as lightweight as a Jolly Rancher. I ended up writing prizes on pieces of paper, having the students grab those instead and then handing out the prizes. It ended up being more of a hassle than it was worth.

Very cool Musical Toy
My daughter got both the Mozart Magic Cube and the Sing With Me Cube for Christmas this year, and we love them both! I am a music teacher, and I think these are just really cool musical toys for young children. The sound is much better than I expected, and my daughter loves them both. I give this one 4 stars instead of 5 only because the songs can be kind of hard to sing with because the music is a little elaborate. It's easier for kids to sing along with simple arrangements, and the cube's songs have lots of notes...which make them great to listen to, but maybe a little tough for a child to sing along with. NOT a reason not to buy, though! Lots of fun, and potential to be an interesting toy for a few years.

The BIG hit
My daughter has had this toy and the Mozart Cube since she was 6 months old, and at 4 1/2, both are still her favorites. She now sings Mozart! Sometimes she sings only the guitar part, next time, it's the french horn's part. Woah. It is so wonderful how you can pick and choose which instrument or combo to listen to, and see how each sounds differently and together. Awesome, smart toy.

Great entertainment
When I purchased the Sing with me Magic Cube for my granddaughter I wondered if she would like it. No worries: she loves it & it is great entertainment for us all! She likes to dance to the music. Since it doesn't sound tinny or too loud it is not annoying to hear it over & over again -- & it continues to be a joy to see how happy it makes her.

VERY cool idea, VERY poor implementation
We got both the Mozart cube and the "Sing with Me" cube as baby shower gifts, right before our first son was born, about three and a half years ago. Unlike some of the previous reviewers, our cube is still going strong, so there aren't any durability problems, here.
We thought the whole idea of having a musical toy, where you could turn each part on and off, was fantastic. I mean, how often do you wish you could do that with your own music?
Unfortunately, the cube doesn't work quite the way you'd expect. First, I'll admit this is fairly minor, but the instruments don't sound even remotely like the real thing. It would be even more minor, but they all sound almost exactly the same.
The real problem, though, is that the instruments don't keep time with each other - one of the most important aspects of music. It also makes the toy incredibly annoying to listen to. Eventually, you have to take it away from your kid, because you can't stand it anymore. We tried replacing one of the cubes, but they're all the same.
That said, our older son did go through a period of time where he played with it a lot. I would seriously consider replacing the two we have, but only if they fix the bugs.

I bought this for a gift to someone else
It was a gift for a shower and on someone' s Amazon shower gift list. I thought it looked good, but I really don't know much about it.

Worth every cent
I bought it when my son was 12 month old. He loved it from the day one.

Sturdiness is not this toys best feature.
We decided to get this for our 9 month old son who is constantly walking along our furniture and playing with his activity center from the outside (he doesn't like being put IN the activity center anymore) so I thought it would be a good idea to get an activity table for him instead. We saw this and it looked perfect.
Unfortunately, within minutes we realized it wasn't going to work for him. The plastic legs have no grip thus resulting in constant sliding unless put against a wall -- which defeats the fun of being able to use each of the different features around the table. The legs also aren't sturdy to begin with. They are not snapped in or assembled so they are very wobbly and could be dangerous to a child who doesn't have his balance yet. We ended up taking the legs out and just using the table on the floor but my son lost a lot of interest when we did that since he couldn't be a big boy and play standing up anymore.
He still has a blast with the blocks that were included -- granted they are chew toys for him right now but he has displayed curiosity in trying to figure out how to put them on the green board so for that I am still VERY glad we bought this -- just wish it was more stable and didn't slide around on the floor. I'm sure once he learns to stand on his own that he will get a lot more use out of this! :)

Great long last toy!
We bought this for our son's 1 year birthday. He is now 2 years old and still plays with it. Worth the money. Long lasting and provides hours of fun

Cute and fun
This is a cute toy and the flip feature is nice as it becomes a new toy every few days. My 14 month old loves it. Very durable- my son likes to take the whole top off and flip the table upside down and pretend he is driving it.

Awesome Toy!!
We bought this for our son's first birthday and he loves it!! My only complaint would be the batteries died after just a couple of weeks and it takes special hearing aid sized, so not something most parents stock up in. We would also like to purchase additional blocks but have been unable to locate thus far.. Otherwise, awesome and we have recieved many compliments on it. I'm sure this will be something our little guy will play with for many years to come.
