Best teether. Ever.

This truly is such a great item, and I love the fact that it has been around for so long-a real classic. It's safe, very soft and easy for even little ones to hold. While it is a bit pricey for a 'teether', it makes up for the money I wasted on the ones that go in the fridge-my little guy hates them, too cold to hold onto. Sophie is a winner!

Sophie is wonderful

I received Sophie as a gift and thought it was just a glorified dog toy. But then my 5 month old started teething and we got it out for him . He loves Sophie. His eyes light up and he starts squealing when he sees her. He loves chewing the top of her head, as the ears/horns message his gums. He can easily manipulate Sophie around to help him get at the area he wants to chew. Great toy.

PLEASE, Don't Leave Your Infant Unattended

I was so happy when we got Shophie the Giraffe as a gift for my child. She started chewing on it at 3 months (pre-teething) and loved it. Now at 4 months she is stronger and inquisitive so she can hold it, rotate it and push against her aching gums. Today I lay her on the floor on her belly with her Sophie giraffe. Standing 4 feet away from her, I suddenly heard her gagging and looked over to see one leg pushed down her throat. I quickly knelt down, pulled it out and took her in my arms. She coughed and sputtered before she could get a full breath in. I'm sad to say that yesterday I would have told you this is the greatest toy for an infant, but now I will warn all parents to beware and never leave your infant unattended. Better yet, don't give it to your child and stick to safe teething rings.

It took my daughter until 4 months to really get into Sophie. Before that I would try to put it in her mouth and she would always turn her head. Then one day she had Sophie by the neck and shoved it in her mouth and it's been love ever since then. Sophie is great to bring on trips and I love how durable she is. She is a little pricey but I would say she's been worth every penny!!

My eight month old loves this.....

I was skepticle about paying $20 for a rubber giraffe that squeaks. But after getting it, my girl loves to chew on the legs. It keeps her content when her gums are bothering her.

I only recently found out what a hit Sophie the Giraffe is with babies, while attending a baby shower. All the new mothers raved about it and considered it a "must" for any baby. Having just become a grandmother for the first time this February, I of course had to see what all the fuss was about. I searched many sites and found Amazon to have the best deal, even though I had to purchase two of them. I figured if it was so wonderful, I'd have an extra one to give to my next grandchild or someone else. I was not disappointed. My grandson loves it. It's been a perfect teething toy right now, and to see him chomping on it, you'd think it was a t-bone steak for babies!To see him with it, it must feel great on his gums. I can see him liking it for a while, especially the squeak it makes, when he's older and can do it himself. I would highly recommend it for any baby just starting to hold on to things, and trying to get anything into his/her mouth.

Best Baby Teether

My daughter LOVES this giraffe. She's 6 months and has been chewing up Sophie since she was about 3 months. She likes to chew on her face too! The rubber is soft on her gums unlike the hard plastic teethers and Sophie is pliable so she can move and manipulate her easily. She smiles when Sophie squeaks!

The only drawback is that it closely resembles a dog toy so our dogs are always aware of where Sophie is because they as well would like to chew her up! Our pretty aggressive chewer did get ahold of her once and she survived so she's one tough Giraffe!

If Sophie gets wet the squeaker will stop working temporarily - just let her dry out and she'll start squeaking again!

This is our go to baby shower present now! I'm a bit of a shopaholic and have tried ALOT of baby products out, this is by far our favorite (so far)!

My little girl loves them!

We bought some teethers for our daughter but they were too big for her hands. These vanilla flavored ring teethers were of perfect size for her. Not to mention they are way too cute and smell really nice. Now that she gets a bit bigger and these teeters are small for her compared to the other ones that she has, she still prefers to use these instead. I wish they come with different animals so I can buy more for my little girl.

Nice teether that is affordable

You can find a lot of nice bargains on the internet and this is one of them. My son really likes this and it is helping him with his teething pain in an all natural way. We lose them now and then but they are affordably priced so easy to replace.

Fun little teethers

These teethers are great. Like another reviewer mentioned, my daughter also loves the poodle for the texture! I've popped these in the freezer to chill them, too. We have linking rings and it's great that you can link them onto this teether (great for walks, or in the car seat). At first I thought the vanilla might be strange, but it's not bad at all.
