Question : Would running yo-yos in basketball season help my running endurance?
I joined basketball to stay in shape and feel im faster and lighter but did the yo-yos just help my speed, endurance, or both? (1600m runner) yo-yos are from baseline to free-throw line and back to half-court and back. To the next free-throw line and back and then full-court and back
Answer:
It would depend on how many you did and how much rest you had between each one, just like your training for track. If you run 400m intervals, doesn't the number you run and the rest you have between each one determine what kind of workout it is. In theory a workout like the yo-yos could help your speed, endurance, or both.

I was about to get a yo yo, but I don't want to start out with a yo yo that I really wouldn't like. I'd like to here some opinions.
Answer:
In my experience, I believe that Yomega yo-yos are more preferable than Duncan yo-yos because they're more durable. If you're thinking of buying a Yomega yo-yo, I recommend the Yomega Xodus #2.

i'm not a native english speaker and i couldn't understand this slang. it was referred to money but how much? how much is 30 yo-yos in irish youngster colloquial terms? 30 euros? 30k?

It's just slang for euros. 30yo-yos=30 euros. It's only used here in Ireland as far as I know though I don't even hear it used that much.

You have probably seen that Mt. Dew commercial were the yo-yos are being treated like they are guns. It is a really funny commercial but I don't get how they could be used as an effective weapon. Yeah they could give you a good bump on the head but they aren't really lethal.

Actually yo-yos were originally made to be weapons. They can be lethal. A skilled yo-yo artist could theoretically hit someone in the nose, drive their vomer bone into their brain, and kill them. A good shot in the temple could be lethal, too.

Back when I was a ninja I used them all the time. I killed 2,067 people with my Yo-yo before I had to replace the string & now i'm retired.
