A while ago I bought a set of small Russian nesting dolls at Salvation Army. There's a sticker at the bottom that says "Made in USSR." Does anyone have any idea how much they are worth? Thank you :)

that sticker is probably worth more than the dolls.the dolls were a mass produced item readily available and still easy to get so, they probably aren't worth much more than their original cost.

Question : How to free stuck nesting dolls???? HELP!!?

You might put in the freezer for an hour. Freezing will cause both the case and the stuck doll to shrink a bit. Then they should separate more easily.

My aunt has a pair of wooden nesting dolls that she'd like her grand kids to be able to enjoy over Christmas. While we can get them apart, we have to do so with considerable force - and we're adults. We want the kids to be able to unscrew them their selves without too much pain or effort.Is there anything we can use to lubricate them that won't harm them?

JOSH... grab yourself a carbon pencil ( the ones we call lead pencils but are no longer lead) and run the pencil on the join .. then move it about ..( lol gawd am having a hard time explaining something so simple.. I am sure you know what I mean >>)

I have actually come across many different sites that sell Russian Lacquer Boxes and Matryoshka Dolls (nesting dolls, but Matryoshka is the actual name for these cute Babushka dolls). I would suggest checking it out and I am sure no matter what you get there your mom will be very happy!
