1. Start by teaching the dog an alternative to nipping, a way to be gentle with mouth contact, with the “kiss me, don’t eat me” game (aka “I am your human, not dog food”). Take him into a bathroom or small room with no distractions. You may tether him to something. That way, if he nips, you can immediately walk out of his reach. Have a very tiny bit of something gooey spread thinly on the back of your hand for the dog to lick – baby food, peanut butter, cream cheese – whatever he craves. If he nibbles, withdraw gooey delicious food immediately. Let him lick for a few seconds, then repeatedly move your hand away for a second, then re-offer it with the cue you want to use for giving kisses. Replenish your “shmear” before the dog starts to nip again. Do short sessions of this as often as you can, then try it in a more interesting room. To get the dog accustomed to being touched without nipping, add reaching for him and touching him with your other hand while he is licking the food-covered hand. Touch your dog very gently at first -- add more pressure and other places to touch gradually, but get around to touching everywhere, including holding the collar. If your dog is small, add lifting him and putting him right back down. Take your time, so the dog remains willing – many, many reps over several days, at least.When this is going well, try offering an unflavored hand with the “kiss” cue – at the end of a session, or at a completely different time. If he doesn’t kiss, go back to using food for a while. If he does, reinforce it by giving a treat with the other hand, then practice with all kinds of distractions and variations.Eventually, tempt him with a waving hand, loud talk, etc. – anything that used to trigger nipping. If he gets overexcited, you disappear. Again, fade the use of food smeared on the back of the hand for a food reward from the other hand, then for other reinforcers.You may use the smeared food (or the cue, once he’s learned it) to show the dog that this doesn’t only apply to hands – let him kiss your face, if that’s going to be an OK behavior, and he was tempted to nip there, also. You may also smear your palm, and make a loose fist, letting the dog only lick from the opening on the thumb side, then build up to more solid treats – this can prepare dogs to be more gentle taking a solid treat.2. Give him a non-human option for chewing. Have lots and lots of toys or long-lasting treats the dog likes to chew, and try to have one on you at all times, so you can give him one before he starts on you. 3. Be prepared to give brief time-outs – give him another chance at whatever you were working on within a few seconds, as long as he is calm.4 Teach him how to play tug with release. If he tugs naturally, say “tug” (or whatever cue you want to put on it) as he’s tugging. If he's jumping to get at the tug toy, don't let him have it till he backs off, then let him tug. Have a piece of food in your other hand, and while he's tugging, bring the food under his nose. He should drop the tug to eat the food – if he doesn’t, hold off on teaching this until you are seeing generally calmer behavior. Give him back the tug toy and repeat a few times in each session.After a while, add a cue as you offer the food, such as "drop it!" and reward when he does. After a few practice sessions, you should be able to have him tug, and drop the tug toy on cue, even if food isn’t being proffered. For a while, you should still reward with food and further tug games when he does. If he makes a mistake and makes contact with your hand while playing tug, just put the toy away and/or walk away. If he seems to value the fun of tugging more than possession of the toy, just let go if he makes contact with your hand, so all fun stops.

It can come from several places, blankets, socks, mittens to keep her from scratching herself. Also it can build up when she doesn't have to many baths. Not to say that you don't bathe her, but I noticed that if I didn't wash my son every other day then that stuff would build up.
