Question : What accessories would you recommend buying for a vehicle with a new owner?
I have suv. would u recommend buying certain accessories? or do u think they look silly? like new floormats, subs, alarm, cd holders, etc?
Answer:
The must have item is an tire gauge. Next would be a safety light... something to allow you to see in the dark and probably one that has a warning flasher. A good bet is one with a radio, light and flasher. And a gallon of clean (that you can drink or use in your vehicle) water, quart of oil, roll of paper towels, jumper cables, and the little thing that allows you to break out a window from the inside. It also includes a thing (razor blade) for cutting your safety belt if you are trapped inside. Those are what I consider a "must have" accessories and ones that no one thinks of when the first get a car. It's one of those dad things.

Question : Are Car/Automobile Accessories a Negotiable Price anytime after a car purchase?
I bought a vehicle in March '09 (it's now October '09). I am aware that items can be added at the time of the car's purchase at a discount or to sweeten the deal.But I was wanting to purchase some accessories specific to the vehicle, so I am needing to purchase through a dealership's parts department. Can their prices be haggled? Are the 'official' car accessories a fixed price at any dealership?
Answer:
The simple answer is no. They could have talked them into it if you were interested in buying the car ...but not half a year later...Also, dealerships of the same brand usually sell OEM accessories for the same price - it's standardized. However, if you want to buy aftermarket accessories from them that's a whole other story. Generally they have huge markups at dealerships anyway. A lot of the aftermarket parts may be just as good if not better than OEM parts and cost the same or LESS than what dealerships ask for.

how long will a dvd player take to run the battery down in a minivan without the motor running?
Answer:
you can usually get 45 min to an hour. but u can start it up run it for 15-20 min and u start all over. once ur dash lights or dome lights start dimming, then its time to start her up.

Question : My car battery is brand new but the vehicle doesn't start, all accessories work but car wont start. Help?
I just put a brand new battery into a 1992 Plymouth Voyager and hooked everything up correctly and the bells and all the dinging sounds, lights, radio and wipers, etc. work just as they would normally but when I go to turn the key to start the vehicle it wont do a thing. Help please! I need this vehicle to transport my stuff since Im moving on 12/1
Answer:
Check the power wire from the battery to the starter for good connection and make sure it is clean and making good contact ar both the starter and battery.

Answer:
I would prefer they not try to sell me accessories, at all. You can typically find accessories much less expensive on ebay or craigslist.

they will stick good with the two sided tape from 3-M.
