Each Sonic Screwdriver feels just perfect. It doesn't really do all the cool things in the series (just in case the Cybermen are able to buy them), but it does have lights and sounds straight from the show - and it extends too! One end has a purple UV light and the other has a pen nib. You can use the regular pen nib to write shopping lists and the UV ink pen nib to write secret plans. These can then be revealed with the UV light of the Sonic Screwdriver. Equip up, Junior Time Lords - it's time to go Dalek hunting.Super Cool Note: The story goes like this: the prop made for the new series was small. Then this toy came out - it was bigger to accommodate the batteries - and the Doctor Who producers revamped the TV prop on a mold from this toy. So this Sonic Screwdriver is exactly the same size as the one Doctor Who uses on TV!

Question : What are good action figures to get a 6yo?
I am adopting this little boy who is 6 and me and my friend are going shopping for Christmas presents for him and he wants action figures so I was wondering what kind of action figures little 6yo boys like and where to get em.

Action figures usually accompany cartoons; does he have any favorites?If he doesn't then you could be sneaky and buy him the cheapest toys and then get him hooked on the cartoon show! He'll never know the difference. I don't know what's available in your area but in some UK stores Storm Hawks figurines (characters + motorbikes) are at knock-down clearance prices which is surprising considering it's a very good show and still popular.

I have 290 action figures that have been accumulated over the years. How much will they go for on ebay?The 290 obviously does not mean pounds60% are dragonball z action figures and the other 30% are marvel action figures, then the rest are just from other shows like ff7,naruto etc

Do a product search for the current listings. They will usually have a photo and of course a description and if they match your product you will fairly have an idea of how much to list your item for sale. :)

Question : How much are Spiderman action figures worth?
I have a collection of Spiderman action figures from early to mid 1990's that are still in their original packaging. I'm not sure of the line (due to them being in storage) but I do know that they're about 10 inches tall. If you know anything about this let me know, I'm just wondering what their estimated worth is?

I have been collecting Star Wars Vintage Collection (2010-2011) Star Wars action figures because the cards and figures are awesome. Some of these are already very popular and sell for way over retail prices. How much do you think these figures might be worth in 5 years if kept well and not opened.
Answer:
The thing with collectibles is you simply never know. It depends on many factors, here are just a few: - Units in series (units produced) - Quality of product - Demand (this fluctuates over time, in 40 years another 3 movies might come out, making these worth way way more at that time) - Collectibility (do they come with accessories? toys with accessories are worth far more down the road, kids tend to lose them making complete units rare) Also, 5 years isn't a timeframe to consider for value, if they're going to have value, you're looking minimum 10 years, but usually closer to 20+ (especially with Star Wars toys, which historically go up and down in price based on the current culture around the movies).

Question : What are some good action figures to collect?
The summer has taken its toll and now I'm bored out of my mind. I've always liked action figures so I just wanted to know some good action figures to collect. As strange as it seems, I see this in a way as an investment so I would like to have action figures that will increase in value over time. Please be specific for example: year, brand, size.
Answer:
I'm not necessarily saying pokemon, but many Japanese anime and manga shows have very creative and unique characters, which kind of reflects on to the action figures made of them, so finding something like that would be a good investment. Hope you find something you like.

Question : What action figures are best for a 6 year old boy?
I chose a boy from the local needy families charity to buy Christmas presents for. He wants Legos, Board Games, Action Figures and a new winter coat. I've bought the legos, board games and coat - but I'm trying to find a way to get several good action figures without spending a ton of money. My boyfriend says a 6 year old boy would most enjoy Transformers and GI Joe, and that we should stay away from superheroes because he may love some and hate others. Any ideas of action figures or links to sales???

Question : Unopened action figures are worth more, but what if the packaging is slightly damaged?
I know action figures still in their original packaging is worth a lot more than having them opened, but what if the packaging is slightly damaged, ie. dented, crumpled, etc? Is it still worth more?

Although some degree of handling damage is to be expected, the condition of the packaging is just as important as the contents, so it does matter.

Question : What is the line of food related action figures?
In the late 80's or early 90's there was a line of food related action figures. I just saw a thing on Food Network or the Travel Channel Cheeseburger Paradise or something like that. It had a lady on it who was obsessed with burgers and I saw one of the burger action figures and it reminded me that I used to have those. I think they also had a french fry guy. Any idea what I'm talking about?

Question : What age do you think someone should stop playing with action figures?
My friend who is 14 and his brother who is 10 have action figures that they use for stopmotion, but occasionally use for just playing around with. I was thinking about it, but it never hit me until now, the thought of when people should stop playing with action figures.Any input? I dont think its weird to use for the stop motion, but when do you think the cut off is to stop playing with them?

I Display them (Star Trek, Star Wars, Monster Movie Characters, Sports Figures) in the original package and a few without. But I don't play with them, that is for my grandkids.
