Artful, Soothing and Educational The winner of several industry awards, including the Editor's Choice blue ribbon from Baby Talk, each Twilight Turtle is individually hand painted for a unique, artful look that complements any nursery or children's room. Plush and soft, with a sturdy plastic shell, this nightlight is best placed on the floor in the center of the room, where it projects a starry night sky onto the ceiling and walls. For interactive fun, parents can also sit with their children and identify and describe the features of eight major constellations, including the Big Dipper and the Big Bear, with the help of the beautifully illustrated Star Guide. The Twilight Turtle also includes a warm-hearted story about how Twilight Turtle, separated from his father, uses the constellations to find his way home.User-Friendly Operation Simply pressing the button on the turtle's shell ignites the stars and keeps them glowing for a full 45 minutes--just enough time for most children to drift into sleep. At this point, the Twilight Turtle automatically shuts off to preserve battery life. Another push of the button reactivates the projection. In addition, the easy selection of the three soothing color choices allows your child not only to learn to identify different colors, but also to truly experience them as well. Amber radiates warmth and peace; green creates a healing and renewing atmosphere; and blue helps calm the senses. The soft, illuminating glow the Twilight Turtle emits also serves as a nightlight that makes the darkness less frightening. Makes a Great Gift A great gift for children who are afraid of the dark, or even adults who have trouble falling asleep, the Twilight Turtle runs on three "AAA" batteries (included). It also comes with a certification of adoption, and measures a compact 14.0 x 5.0 inches (WxH), so it's easy to display and store. Question : Is it possible to make 2 years advanced study than 4 years of university?
let's say that if you want to get your bachelor's degree in something you have to do 4 years of university but you are very smart and you want to do everything in 2 years.is it possible?does it exist special programs for special students like that?
Answer:
I reckon it would be difficult. I did physics, and generally in science and engineering courses there are problems with doing this. The main thing is that one year's work builds on the previous, so you would be trying to do stuff which you didn't have the prerequisite information for. Also, timetabling all the classes would be a pain.I guess it might be a bit easier in the humanities. Less classes to go to for one, and I don't think there's so much building on previous knowledge.

Question : Would paying a 4 year loan off in 2 years hurt my credit?
I heard recently that if you pay a loan off too fast it actually hurts your credit because banks wont want to give you loans if they can't make any money off of the interest rate on your account. Is this true? If so, is 2 years too fast for a 4 year loan?
Answer:
A credit score is based on a 12 month activity. If you paid on time for 24 months, that should give a excellent credit score which is between 750-840

Question : If I go to college for 2-4 years to be a hair/makeup artist about how much salary will I get a year?
I want to be a hair stylist and a makeup artist. If I go to college for 2-4 years about how much will I make a year?
Answer:
It REALLY depends on where you work. Beauty school isn't a 4 year course anyway (nor is it really a 'college'). You can complete the hours needed for a cosmetology license in like one year. Do some research, I guess.

Question : When you transfer to a university do you do 2 more years or 4?
I would like to go to college and I was curious, if you do 2 years at a community college then transfer, do you just do 2 years at the university to complete your 4 year degree? Or is that when your 4 years begin?
Answer:
2yrs community college + 2yr university = 4yr bachelors degreeDoesn't matter where you do it, as long as you complete the 120+ credit hour requirement - and all courses relative to your major - you end up with the same degree.Additional Details:IGNORE posters like PE2008, they've obviously never been to college and are clueless (being as "remedial course" don't count towards graduation at either community college or a university).

Question : How can I get an accounting job with 2+ years in business, a 4 yr accounting degree, but no acct experience?
I have worked for a Fortune 500 company for the past 2.5 years, but not in the accounting department. I am ready for a change and want to move to public accounting. Any suggestions on where or how to find an open accounting job? Looking for Ryan M to answer now that I have updated to let him know I have a 4 year degree.
Answer:
Network, network, network! And get a referral for reputable agency(ies) that works in the skill set/s you want to develop. Additionally, you should use the career center at the school where you got your degree. You are the product of their program, and they (should) have a vested interested in your success.

Question : Is a bathelor's degree 2 years at a 2 year college plus 2 more years at the 4 year college?
In other words will this be a bachelor's degree, first you go to a 2 year college for 2 years, THEN you transfer to a 4 year college and study there for 2 more. Is that a Bachelors degree? Or is it just when you study for 4 years a 4 year college?
Answer:
A bachelors degree is essentially the second degree that you get.The first degree would be an associates degree. This includes associates of arts, associates of business, or science, or whatever your college offers. Many people go to two year colleges, or community colleges to obtain these degrees because they are cheaper. After finishing an associates degree whether at a 2 year or 4 year college you begin on a bachelors. This is when you must pick a major, and study for two more years and then you will receive a bachelors after fulfilling the requirements.

Question : If I transfer from a community college after 2 years to a 4 year, would I be considered a freshman?
Or a junior? I graduated HS last year in 2010 and ever since Fall 2010, I have been attending Community College. I am going to transfer to a 4-year school and start my semester there beginning Fall 2012. Would I be considered a freshman or a junior? I wish I would be considered a freshman .. so I can make up the 2 years of garbage and pain I've went through in community college.
Answer:
If you complete all the class requirements of the freshman and sophomore years you would be considered a junior upon entrance. The titles of freshman, sophomore, junior or senior are only symbolic and do not really give a true indication of ones standing in the school.

Question : Going to 2 years at community college or 4 year university?
I can't decide. Should I go to a community college for 2 years then transfer to a university or should I go straight to a 4 year university. I want to major in nutrition with a minor in business (I know two totally different fields) I mean I could save a lot of money by going to a community college but I feel like I would be missing out. I mean college is the time were you're always broke and you eat ramen noodles 3 times a day. I mean it's like the whole fun of college.
Answer:
4 year definitelyNutrion to business aren't too different, they would both be bachelors of science; so that's good.Okay, seriously, ask people that have been there or counselros at the 4 year (not the 2 year school)Most kids who start at community college end up going to school for 6 years, (the average time if you start at a 4 year school is 5 years)All major-related classes but maybe one or two will be a waste of time, because most 4 year schools only really consider 300 and 400 level classes for major requirements. Most classes won't transfer, there are schools with different agreements about different classes, but to make them all transfer for sure you have to take another bulk of classes (about 18 hours worth)Even if you do that, most of the classes won't count for much because you have to have a certain number of hours in 300- and 400- level anyway. My g/f made the mistake of going to a 2 year first, and basically as far as time is concerned she could have sat on her hands, it will take her 6 years in the end (as it does most)

I know there are tons of questions about this already on here, but I can't find an answer to my question. What I want to know is if you attend community college for 2 years, doing general education and all that and you transfer to a 4 year university- do you then spend 4 years at university? Or is it only two more to get a Bachelors or whatever? Sorry I am a confused highschooler just trying to figure some things out! Some explanation would be very helpful. Thank you!
