Question : I am 34 year old single parent of a 12 year old. I have worked in the medical field for 15 years and its time?
I consider going to college to become a RN. Right now with out a degree in nursing I cant climb the ladder of success. I can't really get paid anymore than I am being paid now. I want flexibility and good pay. I would like to go school full time and work part time. How can I do that and still pay the mortgage and keep health benefits?

Apply for grants! That and see if your current employer offers tuition reimbursement. Although community colleges are the least expensive for nursing programs, they are often the most crowded with applicants and therefore, very selective about their actual nursing program applicants. While I don't know what your current bill vs income status is, many people that qualify for grants use them, plus student loans to make it through school AND pay their rent,mortgage, living expenses. Since you do work in healthcare, perhaps finding a weekend or evening shift position part time while you go to school can help out with bills if you aren't able to get enough in loans and grants to quit your job. That way, you'd still be eligible for health benefits with most places. It's a rough road, but you can do it! Best wishes!!

It depends where you go to get the dog. More expensive as a pure breed or at a store. You could also look in a newspaper (They give away puppies a lot of the time for free) or visit a shelter. Shelters sometimes will sell you a puppy at a sometimes high price ($80-ish here) but it includes spaying/neutering, vet visits, some shots... All depending on the place. Do some searching and see where you're getting the pup.If you get a puppy, you're going to have to pay for a lot of vet visits - which are well worth it. (Unless the pup has been treated - that's pure luck, there) You'll have to do a little research directly from your source - I don't know where you're looking for your perfect pal.Factor in food bowls, leash, chew toys (essential for puppies - or you'll lose some clothing or pillows...or wires) - means for taking the pup outside - if you don't have a fence, you'll need a leash.Of course, there's food. It's about $10-ish for that bag. You can ration meals three times a day, and be sure when you'll refill (Perhaps a week or two?) or you can just fill it whenever it's empty, but not too much for puppies, who'll eat themselves sick. My parents dog died two weeks ago, he was close to twenty years. Thats an interesting questions about dogs. I recently took in a stray cat, so I was curious about how long they lived and wanted to research this. I was amazed to find that most of the longest lived cats documented and on record in fact had been fed a large quanity of human food. My point is my paretns are very old and they took care of this dog as if he were their child. They loved this dog so much that I was always very fearful they are too sad if he die. Of course they are devastated. But that dog ate the same food as they did eat and over 19 is really old in my opinion. My theory is that it could be a combination of things such as the animals feel they are part of something, but also most humans eat poorly and what might be considered not so healthy for a human is quite good for a dog. I wonder how long a human can live on just dog food ha ha ..........mankind is inteligent but I do not think he has had much luck in duplicating the complex molecular structures found in natural foods which leads me to belive that an animal forced to be fed a singular source of nutrition throught it life is actually a little cruel. but I dont joke please google this and see if this is not the case.
